I haven't been here in quite a few years, but wanted to take a friend to a nice relaxing lunch the Firewheel Cafe, only to find out that they do not do lunch anymore. So we went to the alternative, the Barrelhouse Bar. I will state right up front that the food was excellent. The brisket sandwich was delicious and the french fries are some of the best I've ever had. Desserts were good also, coffee was excellent. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. We were seated for about 10 minutes before anyone said a word to us. Drinks; ice tea and coffee, took another 10 minutes. My coffee was served to me in a GO CUP. A GO CUP! I had to ask for a real cup. I had to ask again for sugar and again for a spoon when she did not bring one with the coffee cup. The ambiance seems welcoming, I recommend getting table staff, I believe they'd be a lot more attentive.
