On 15 Jul, around 9:00am I visited this location and saw no one manning the front but I could see two employees chopping tomatoes in the back so I patiently waited assuming they would occasionally glance back to attend to the customer. 5 minutes pass and by now two ladies speaking loudly queue up behind me so I thought the employees in the back would hear their conversation and come to the front but they did not so I started whistling and saying "Good Morning" in hopes of getting their attention and when this failed, proceeded to tap the stainless steel counter with a gradual loudness (I did not want to seem rude) until I finally caught their attention and Subway employee Janie does a quick about-face and gives me a death stare, her demeanor, mannerisms and tone was unnecessarily hostile as she was haphazardly making my sub even though I made no mention of the amount of time I had been waiting or anything related to it.
Is glancing every couple minutes to the front counter to watch out for customers while chopping tomatoes too much to ask? If so, please consider adding a customer service bell...
