Suncity — Restaurant in Tomball

After eating dinner at Pizzaiolo's with our baby girl, hubby decided to treat us to some delicious ice cream at Suncity Ice Cream Shop. I'm sure glad that he did because our little baby was so excited to get an ice cream cone. Her little innocent face lit up as we walked into the ice cream shop and her eyes grew larger than the size of golf balls as she scanned the room, which was equipped with all sorts of goodies, snacks, toys, and table games. Although lacking the fanciness and extravagances of other ice cream parlors, this shop has a more down-to-earth vibe and feels like home.

Suncity Ice Cream Shop is located in the Tomball area right around the corner from Hockley TX. It is neighbor to an array of other businesses such as Civic Liquor store, Pizzaiolo's restaurant, Las Fuentes Mexican Restaurant, Smoke Heaven Smoke Shop, and more. Upon entering, we were greeted by two ladies who were very friendly and welcoming. I regret that I did not get their names because they were so kind and patient with us. Although this establishment is an ice cream shop, they also offer other items on the menu, such as nachos, elote, sodas, candy, chips, frozen yogurt, sherbet, and more.

Furthermore, this place is a kid's visual sweet wonderland with an atmosphere filled with bright and colorful decor and rainbow hues, joyful and exciting sounds of other kids laughing and chattering. They have rows and rows of ice cream flavors in different colors on display which so easily captures the attention of children and instantly brightens up their world. Then there's toppings available, such as sprinkles, gummy bears, chocolate fudge, chocolate chips, and more! It's a thrilling sensation not for just kids, but for adults as well while you're watching the server scoop your favorite ice cream flavor into a waffle cone and top it with your fav toppings! My little baby girl was filled with pure happiness and excitement as she held her ice cream cone in her hand filled with her favorite flavor, vanilla. See for yourself in the photos. Moreover, this establishment is tiny with a small dining room. However, like I stated before, the ambience is very inviting and comfortable. The dining tables were clean and each table was provided with a game for the enjoyment and pleasure for customers to partake in while dining. There's checkers, chess, uno cards, tic tac toe, and dominos. Hubby and I did not get a cone but instead a cup of pistachio flavored ice cream with almonds. It was absolutely delicious! The texture of the ice cream was thick and smooth possessing a rich and sweet milky palate. It was like sweet-cream-heaven in a small cup on a hot summer day.

Overall, the three of us, hubby, babygirl, and I enjoyed our dining experience at Suncity Ice Cream shop. It was a rare treat for me because I try not to indulge in the wickedly and sinfully delicious flavors of ice cream, especially the pistachio flavor. It will have you committing one of the seven deadly sins for real, gluttony!!! Try this place at your own risk, but don't say I didn't warn you. It's a great spot for teenagers, families, dates, or even if you're all alone and in the mood for some good ol' tasty and flavorful ice cream. You will not be bored, trust me. I highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys the magical pleasures of holding a cone or a cup of their favorite treat in their hands. You can't go wrong with ice cream, especially ice cream as delicious as the flavors that are provided at this establishment. It'll make everything as right as rain. Parking is plentiful and there's other places you can visit while in the area. You can have dinner at Las Fuentes or Pizzaiolo's and then walk over to Suncity Ice Cream Shop and enjoy some delicious dessert! Five Stars for this shop and we will definitely be going back...

We were so excited to discover an ice cream shop about a mile from our new house in Amira. But imagine our disappointment when I was hoping for a hot fudge sundae and found that they have no hot fudge. My first two jobs as a young teenager was in an ice cream shop. I cannot imagine an ice cream shop without hot fudge. I hope this is rectified soon and I will be happy to go back. The ice cream is delicious, but when a girl wants a hot fudge sundae, she needs hot fudge...... unfortunately Dairy Queen has closed or we would be driving...

1 star accurately reflects the poor customer service and the quality of the watermelon aqua fresca.tasted like water with sugar and the tinest piece of watermelon. Lady working there hands me a HOT plastic cup that burned my hand had zero guard on it. Makes more sense to use Styrofoam to prevent this. Also the entire placed smelled like old corn. I recommend skipping this place and driving to a real...
