If you like carne asada / bistec steak tacos this is your spot! Tacos are decent in size, seasoned well topped with onions and cilantro. Add a squirt of lime and green hot sauce and your taste buds will be swirling with authentic Mexican flavors. After a half dozen visits this taco spot earns a great review for being so consistent! The atmosphere is nice especially for an outdoorish taco stand. Parking lot needs work but they do a great job with decor and great pictures of their menu items. Looks great! The ladies at the ordering booth can be a bit to the point so be sure to know what you want before ordering at the window. Otherwise they’re generally fairly friendly overall! Did I mention the horchata!? Perfect! Full of flavor and very refreshing! It’s not at all watery like you often find at other places. Probably the best horchata I’ve found around town! 3 steak tacos and a large horchata under $20 ain’t to bad these days! (Some other review mentioned it was expensive, hate to break it to ya man but steak and everything theses days is expensive! That’s what happens when money is printed from thin air, inflation!) There’s plenty of more good to be said here but overall this place has been very good! I look forward to eating many more tacos 🌮...

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Staff is very rude. I ordered a fruit cup & the mango was so white, hard & bitter, it looked like jicama. I let the staff know & she told me “oh Well.” They do not control how the fruit taste. I proceeded to explain that the fruit not only was CLEARLY not in season but also tasted very bitter. That since we bit into it we KNOW & are making her aware of issue. She still continues to just justify that she is only doing her job & serving what we asked. It is not her job to let us know if it’s not good. I asked for owner & she told me she was not there asked her for info to contact her & she refused to give me any contact info. Finally another comes out & says what else do u want? I said fix the issue. She says HOW do do u want me to do that? I said, well either give me my money back or something else. She says we don’t give money back so u can get something else. I look at my receipt & realized the wall says 1 price but they up charge an extra $1.25. My receipt was charged $8.25 +tax for fruit cup. When asked why she says oh that’s just what it says. & ignored the issue. Its okay the mini tacos ar speinkled with meat like if the pound was 100 dollars for 12 plus dollars 4 mini tacos not worth it cuban torta was doused in mayo and what makes it cuban is not wat you get here that thing is basically a tragedy taste like spam on whitebread the fresh waters are okay if you get there before they water them down mixed alcoholic drinks that are meant to be bloody mary style or clamato based are just tainted red with chamoy which is not the way to do a mixed drink drive either up or down the same road and get yourself better food elsewhere and cheaper menudo is the only thing on the menu i see and tasted that was close to authentic flavor but you get more stock the stomach and grains went multiple times to see if it was a bad day or off day tried to be as optomistic as possible but not worth the trouble and if you want true flavor drive to elgin theres a taco trailer near a shells gas station...
