My fiancé and I went on a Saturday afternoon. He ordered the grilled pork rice platter and a banh mi. It seemed like they forgot our order because we were waiting about 20 minutes before they asked us what we ordered again. They gave us a small complementary flan in the mean time while they went to the kitchen and took 15 more minutes to bring out our food. Once we arrived to our home, we opened the Togo containers and they got my fiancés order completely wrong. They gave us pork spring rolls instead of the bowl. My banh mi bread wasn’t toasted well, making it extremely hard to bite and chew so I didn’t enjoy it all. Also, the flan was so mid. My fiancé went back to the restaurant to get what he actually wanted. When he arrived there, my fiancé wasn’t even given the chance to explain the situation. The person at the cashier counter went to the back to get the correct order. There was no mention of comps, or feedback. From the moment he ordered his food to the moment he actually ate what he wanted, it had been over an hour. Luckily we only like 7 minutes away.

The last time he was here something similiar also happened. He ordered over the phone for pickup. When he arrived they were about to charge him for an $80 order without asking for his name or what his order was. He only ordered a banh mi and a bowl. After looking for his order they had to retake his order and start preparing it. This whole interaction also took about an hour.

A modern quiet atmosphere with tasteful decor. Small tables with intimate seating maybe holding 15 at most. Menues are everywhere, screens, posters and laying on the counter. Pictures adorn the walls with the names of the dishes under them.The front door is also left open. This means the temperature and humidity is the same as outside and the flies are terrible.

General Tsos Chicken Savory sauce with a little heat. The chicken unlike normal General Tsos is grilled not fried. The carrots are intensely sweet when paired with this complex savory sauce. Garlic and chili attack the senses with a 1-2 punch at the back of the tongue. The chicken itself was seasoned by a master.

Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi A small sandwich with little smell hides a beautiful flavor of vinegar soaked carrots and fresh cilantro. A little shy on how much of the delicious lemongrass beef is hiding in the back. The bread could be more fresh.

📣 First time customer! Viewed them on Doordash and realized Doordash has an insane upcharge and service charge. I ordered directly on their site and decided to pick up myself. I saved $30 by doing this and recommend to others to order direct and pick up.

🥢 We ordered the rice platters with pork and shrimp and fried potstickers. Added extra pork too. We decided to have fried rice for the base. The food is authentic and flavorful. The portion size of the platter was enough for 2 people and the pork serving is very generous. I'll have to save the extra pork for later. The fried rice is amazing and seasoned. The pork and shrimp have a honey taste that seals the flavors together. Potstickers we're another favorite and the Hoisin sauce is incredible. We are so pleasantly surprised with this neighborhood find.
