Hartz Chicken — Restaurant in Texas

I recently went to a Hartz Chicken with my daughters. As we were about to partake in the buffet, one of my daughters pointed out that the mash potatoes had a brown, crusty film on top of them. When I asked the cashier how long the potatoes had been out, he went and got another one of the employees to find out. She came over and tried to explain that the energy from the warmer lights had caused this. I then asked for my money back. She then said fresh potatoes could be made in five minutes. I repeated that I wanted a refund.

She told the cashier. He demanded that I bring the trays back, and I said I would if he would start the refund process. He said he would not. I called the police. When the officer got there, he told me he couldn't make him give me a refund.

I'm wanting to bring this to the attention of other consumers because it seems as if this is the type of behavior that this establishment engages in regularly. While waiting for the officer to arrive, I Googled the restaurant and they have numerous complaints about this type of behavior and the food being subpar.

As I said, it seems like this establishment engages in this type of practice regularly in regards to stealing conman l consumers' money, serving spoiled good, and providing subpar customer service. Just think about it. My order was $29. If they did that with enough...

I went to the location on 1489 Spring Cypress Rd, Spring, TX 77373 . The lady (of Asian decent) told my husband the Tejas chicken was regular wings when in fact they were fried chicken wings smothered in hot sauce. I asked her if she had a wing combo with more than 3 wings and she implied she could not exchange for an even price. My husband went back to the drive thru and asked for a refund. I reiterated that the order was incorrect due to the lack of understanding. She then told me she would not speak to me but with my husband. She told him she could not give us a refund and will have to throw the food away. I demanded a refund again. She walked away replying inaudible remarks. She then charged us for the drink that I had because I consumed it while waiting on the incorrect order. During this pandemic or any other time this is unacceptable. I...

This was THE WORST Hartz Chicken I have EVER been to. Took my grandson, whose 10 & he came out of the bathroom & said it was the best bathroom he's ever seen...#NOT! Ok, I had to laugh at that but it was a terrible experience. My chicken breast was raw in the middle, some kind of pudding looked like it had been there a week, my grandson said his mashed potatoes had something brown & hard in them, the white gravy tasted like glue & the brown gravy wasn't any better. I asked if there was any more turnip greens & after washing trays she brings out green beans. I had to ask for chicken breasts & strips & she just walked off never came back after standing there for awhile I asked the guy & he immediately got me some. My grandson did like the chicken strips & mac n cheese though. I don't see how this place stays...
