We have been ordering from Shanghai for almost two years, and this was "one of" the WORST experiences we've had! We ordered (4) fried chicken wings, small shrimp fried rice, with shrimp egg roll, and a General's Chicken combo (comes with pork fried rice and pork egg roll.) Our order was $6+ more than what we were told on the phone (and more than we always pay for this exact meal.) My husband went back in and told the guy at the register, and he just said "prices go up everywhere." And handed my husband what was supposed to be our receipt. When he got home, we saw that we had ONE gummy, tasteless egg roll (pork? shrimp? Who knows?), an order of CRAB RANGOON ($6.95) which we would never order since we don't even like it, and the rest of the order (which was correct.) By the way, if you like Crab Rangoon, when you open up the (large)fried wanton, you will see maybe a HALF TEASPOON of their filling. Save your money! This place has been going downhill in quality and customer service, notably over the last 6 months. Will no...
Read moreWe have ordered twice. Both orders over 50.00. The first time the food was freshly cooked and tasted great. The 2nd time, we ordered the exact same items. The chicken lo mein was dry. The sesame chicken was old as if it I had taken it home it sat in the refrigerator and I warmed it back up. We all know how sesame chicken, general tso chicken and other dishes taste when you warm it back up. The chicken becomes kind of chewy and tough. When you order directly from the restaurant you do not expect it to be like that but that's exactly how it was the 2nd time I ordered. It tasted a day old, if not two days old. I swear they warmed it back up and sold to me is if it was freshly cooked food. No thank you! If a restaurant can't cook your food fresh every single time you order it, I will not...
Read moreThere is a glass barrier in front of the kitchen, which ensures a comfortable temperature for customers in the dining room, but I can feel the temperature in the kitchen on the other side of the glass barrier is already over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. I have many special requests for my diet, such as less oil, less sauce, soft boiled, spicy, etc. In such a harsh and high temperature environment, their employees still serve me patiently and meet my requirements one by one. I like this group of Chinese people very much. We should not be dissatisfied with this glass barrier. Heart to heart, would you be willing to serve others in a 100-degree kitchen? I don't want to, but someone...
