Just got back from this café not a great experience. Do not waste your money and time. We ordered, and I asked how long it would take to get our order ready. They said 15 mins. We waited a bit outside as it was super crowded inside. When I came inside to retrieve my order, I was not greeted. In fact, I was straight up ignored. Other people got their orders handed to them. Another guy walked up (after I was standing there for a couple of minutes trying to get this barista's attention) and was serviced right away. She never asked me if I needed help or gave me a simple acknowledgment of giving her a moment. I finally was able to get another waiter's attention, and he got our order out. Would have been nice if they just handed me my order right away like they did for other people. Now the coffee is cold. Don't care if the food is good. If the service is poor, it is not worth it. Go here if you want to be ignored.
Update: If you read the owner's response to my comment, you can see how they can not take accountability and also try to gaslight me. I have only visited them once, and the bad service was memorable enough for me to leave a very detailed comment about. On my life, I know that this is the café that did this so don't try to be passive aggressive with your response about "Sounds like you had an interesting adventure, but it wasn’t with us! " I also did a to go order, so don't make it seem like I don't know how it works when it comes to ordering food. Sure, you don't have waiters, but I'm talking about the people who work there. Reread my original comment and think about what went wrong before gaslighting a customer. I hope your business goes as poorly as you treat...
Read moreThe customer service is definitely lacking. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with silence. No warm welcome, no acknowledgment - just an awkward, uncomfortable stillness that left me feeling like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.
This establishment is not run by inexperienced teenagers; it’s operated by adults, which makes the lack of professionalism and BASIC customer service even more unacceptable. I had to actively get someone’s attention just to place my order. Not once did I feel a sense of care or hospitality that should be a given in any service industry, let alone at a bakery claiming to offer a premium experience.
Customer service is the foundation of any successful business, and it’s clear that Levure Bakery and Patisserie has a long way to go in this regard. I’m not asking for over-the-top theatrics, but a simple acknowledgment and basic courtesy would have gone a long way. The pastries and latte were fine, but the sour taste of indifference left a lasting impression that overshadows everything else.
If Levure wants to retain its customers and build a loyal base, it must urgently address its customer service standards. I won’t be returning...
Read moreI don’t usually leave low reviews but I do belive in constructive criticism. With that said, I ordered a flat white with oat milk to go but got a steaming (and I promise I’m not over-exaggerating the fact that it was extremely hot) latte. The frothing pitcher was simply placed on the coffee machine with the steam wand inside, the barista turned the steam on and left it there until it was making the high shrill sounds, which means the milk is scalding and burnt. Then the barista placed the coffee and milk in a large coffee to go cup filled to the top. When I tried to say I had ordered a flat white, meaning it had less milk than a latte, he went on to say a flat white is actually a latte but with no foam. So I left with a coffee that burnt my tongue (even after waiting a while since I could feel the cup was very hot), a coffee that wasn’t creamy (they use oatly barista so it had the potential of having actual steamed milk), unhappy with the experience, and a bit frustrated that the barista didn’t know the difference between various coffee drinks, because instead of being something that could’ve been fixed or alternated it ended up being...
