I recently visited Mr. Chicken, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked through the door, I was enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is beautiful—the walls are adorned with intriguing art that adds a special touch and makes you want to explore every corner of the restaurant. It truly sets the stage for a wonderful dining experience.

The service at Mr. Chicken deserves a shout-out, too. I was amazed by how attentive the staff was, even on a busy evening. It felt like they genuinely cared about my experience, stopping by my table frequently to see if I needed anything without being overbearing. You could tell that the team was well-trained and passionate about their work, making the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.

Now, let's talk about the food! Every bite was a delight, but the real star of the meal was the “6 Leches” dessert. Oh. My. Goodness. It was simply heavenly. The texture was so light and airy; it practically melted in my mouth. Honestly, I could have eaten it all over again right then and there! It's one of those desserts that you daydream about long after you leave.

The hostess also made a lasting impression. She was incredibly friendly, sharing her recommendations with such enthusiasm that you couldn’t help but feel excited about the menu. It was clear that she wasn’t just doing her job; she was genuinely invested in helping guests have a fantastic meal.

If you've never tried Peruvian food like me then this is the spot to try for a positive experience!

Their menu is easy to navigate with a good variety of options so everyone is bound to find something that they like or want to try. My homegirl brought me here and she's Peruvian so she knows authentic. I paid for our meal ($45) was a birthday gift and she said since she's moved out of her family home she eats here to get a taste of home like how her mother or grandmother would cook. I could tell she was so happy to be eating there with me. Nostalgic she said.

The chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The rice and beans were hot and fresh and flavorful. The cashier always had a smile on her face and answered our questions. She even gave us an appetizer which was fried chicken and cheese wrapped in a wonton-like crispy outer layer. By far my favorite was the dessert alfajores with the dulce de leche center. I've since returned already a 2nd time this week for these addictive cookies.

They offer many sauces to dip the chicken as well and our fave was the garlic mayo. Between my friend and I we absolutely demolished everything we were served. No crumbs left. We did take some alfajores to share with our coworkers but other than that the food was all in our bellies.

We recommended Mr. Chicken to one of our patients and she got the alfajores and fried rice with chicken which she loved as well. Very flavorful and made swiftly to-go.

4 stars on atmosphere due to the restroom not having any supplies (no tissues or paper towel).

Stopped by for some dinner takeout with my wife tonight and tried the whole chicken meal with two sides (fried rice and sweet plantains), along with the Peruvian tequeños. Where do I even begin? This chicken is some of the freshest, most flavorful, and absolutely magical I’ve had in a long time. The fried rice was perfectly cooked—lightly oiled, not greasy, well-seasoned, aromatic, and served with fresh scallions over eggs. Wow! The plantains were perfectly ripe, beautifully fried, and not a trace of extra grease.

My wife said it best—we definitely hit a home run here. Lucky for us, we’re close enough to enjoy this place several times a month, and we’re already planning to come back and explore the entire menu. The staff was incredibly friendly, greeting us warmly as we walked in and again as we left.

I sincerely hope this spot keeps up the amazing quality and consistency because they’ve earned lifelong customers in us. Congratulations on your opening, and wishing you all the success...
