OMG!! I love Scooters Coffee. I used to live in McKinney, Texas and would go to the Virginia Park location everyday, sometimes 2x a day. Well, I move to Houston May of 2020 and have not been back to Dallas since. I would always be tempted to drive back to Dallas JUST to go to Scooters Coffee. During this time, I've been going to Starbucks because it's the only thing close to me but I would always think to myself "Starbucks is trash compared to Scooters, but it'll do." I even used to think, "why aren't there any locations in Houston since it's not that far from Dallas." It was the one thing I missed about Dallas. Well, I just did a random GPS Scooters search to see if anything within at least an hour of me would pop up on good maps and OMG, there is a location 30 minutes from me!!!!! Apparently, the store is new and has been open just a few months!!!! I have literally wanted a Scooters to be in Houston and I am so glad I did a random Google search!!!! I will be getting my first Scooters Coffee drink since March 2020 and I couldn't be more excited. I absolutely love this place, the drinks are amazing!!! I'm so so so so happy. I will be going there everyday now just like I did when I lived in Dallas!!!!
Sorry, Starbucks but you'll never see me again, I'm back with Scooters...
Read moreI recently visited Scooter’s Coffee and tried their caramel latte, which was quite good! The caramel flavor was perfectly balanced with the strong, rich espresso, creating a smooth and satisfying drink. The coffee wasn’t too sweet, which I appreciated, and the texture was creamy and pleasant. But what really stood out during my visit were their excellent pastries! I paired my latte with a freshly baked pastry, and it was the perfect complement to the drink. The pastry was light, flaky, and had just the right amount of sweetness, making the entire experience delightful.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that the seating area could use a bit more space. It got a little crowded during the mid-morning rush, which made it hard to find a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy my coffee and pastry. However, the friendly staff and quick service definitely made up for it. I’ll definitely be back for more caramel lattes and pastries—it’s a great spot for a coffee break or a quick...
Read moreI’ve tried this coffee shop about 4 times now. I am not usually ever impressed although I really want to be. (I will say the staff is great tho) There are many things I’m just not wowed by. The cups leak. Every time I get an iced drink I get a cup that leaks when I pick it up. Then moving towards the most important part being the coffee. It’s just not great. I find that it’s usually not very strong espresso and no amount of syrups can mask bad coffee. There are so many local coffee shops owned by good local people around that I’d truthfully much rather support than a chain!! Hopefully you check them out too!
Just to name a few! Third gen, blue door coffee company, love beans coffeehouse right down the road, luv coffee, Hebrews coffee, wilderlove coffee. Obviously keep supporting scooters but also broaden your coffee adventures!
Any-who, no hate to this company because clearly they attract a certain kind of crowd. It’s just not for me! Happy...
