Billy's Tavern — Restaurant in Thibodaux

Awesome place..under new owners who have gone the extra mile to change this bar for the better...cleaned it up and put air purifier to battle the smoke...

I'm not a live band type but this place has plenty of it if that's your thing.. Staff is ON POINT.. And you won't be waiting for your drink..

People who frequent this place are nice and laid back. Good happy hour and specials..

Food is great when they do have a function and supply it... Great little watering...

Some guy hits on my fience' and instead of getting into a fight (like I really wanted to) my fience' and I decided to go around back to finish our pool game so as to let things be so that there was no trouble and instead of telling the drunk guy at the bar hitting on every woman that got near him that he has had a little too much to drink, why don't you go home and sleep it off; we get kicked out. The guy would not even hear my side of the story....

It gets the classic dive bar seal of approval. Not scary though, I think Cajuns are friendly people, of course I was there on a Monday night, not many there. Free pool on Mondays, which kept us there much longer and for more beers. It seems to be convenient that it has an access bar in the back where the pool tables are and 4 bathrooms. Easy to discern the one in the back next to the pool tables as Male because of the fist marks...
