Dunkin' — Restaurant in Thomaston

Stopped here while waiting for my aunt and it was pretty slow for a drive thru. I order my regular lg iced coffee with 4 pumps Carmel swirl 6 sugars 4 creams on the side and decided I wanted a donut which is not something I do often, asked for a double chocolate. After she asked me if this completed my order I said yes she said pull up never said the total. I said thank you either way. Sat in line for about 5 or 6 mins before I got to the window just to be told now that they didn't have any double chocolate and asked me if regular chocolate frosted would do. I politely declined but since they failed to tell me this when placing my order and still ran my debit card before informing me. So I said a strawberry frosted would be okay instead since I didn't really want to sit for another 15 mins waiting on a refund that would take a few days to clear. All in all this particular visit to this Dunkin donuts location was less then mediocre. But their staff was friendly and politely but lacked proper ...

I’m only giving 5 stars cause Shawn works there, I don’t know him personally but I’ve been going to this location for the past 4 years because of its easy on off access. If Shawn didn’t work there I would probably skip it.. The guy is the epitome of what Dunkin’ must of envisioned its employees to be, or any chain for that.. Quick, clean, professional and always nice and about the customer. That being said, aside from him I’m not crazy about the way my coffee comes out from here... sometimes it’s pure syrup, I often have to ask to have it stirred, which I think should naturally happen when making ice coffee for someone? Shawn always nails it, so I look forward to catching him making drinks.. I hope the owners here take good care of him cause he’s most definitely the reason they are...

I’ve been going to this Dunkin for years and lately the service quality dipped. Yesterday was the final straw. My wife and I ordered the bacon which came out cold! Not room temperature, cold! We asked them to reheat it they said they couldn’t it would burn the roof of our mouth. We have always had the bacon from there never an issue and finally we get another bag from this woman who is always there that I am not a fan of. Her hair used to be pink now it’s blonde and she always makes you feel like you are inconveniencing her when you order. We told them it seemed the bacon came from the fridge she snarled at us and said no it didn’t like we were crazy! I won’t be using this one anymore until they fire her she really isn’t...
