The only thing wrong with this store is that it's not in my town! It's amazing to get fresh-cut meat, deli & fresh produce without trudging through a giant store! Not to mention not needing a store card and wasting time downloading a coupon and hoping you've picked up the right item (and correct amount of items) to get the coupon to work. It's great to have the IGA brand available as a lower cost option and always plenty of helpful employees and cashiers-no need to scan your own groceries! Great store there are not many small stores like this left there used to be an IGA in winsted it's gone now. The produce was very good the rest of the products were good and all the staff was very nice and helpful. It was quite a change and reminds me of how it used to be when there was more smaller stores like. It would be nice if more small markets like this come back. Few bad experiences there. Just went there yesterday and there was only one container of spring mix lettuce that wasn’t expired. Went there on 6/25 and most of them said best by 6/23... ew. I got deli meat there once and it tasted spoiled so I threw it out immediately. I work in a large supermarket and there’s no reason such a small store should have expired food on the shelves.
