Chandlers Drive In — Restaurant in Thomasville

So far I’ve tried their Philly cheesesteak, fried chicken, chicken tenders, hamburgers, fries and chocolate shakes. The Philly cheesesteak is definitely a good example of why you shouldn’t make something if you really don’t know what it’s suppose to taste like, but, understandably most people don’t. The fried chicken is dry, not crispy at all and the pieces are small, as for the tenders, they are over breaded which makes them hard, I’m almost sure they’re frozen. I ordered the cheeseburger and the patty was so thin and small I thought the cooks accidentally left it off. I gave it a try anyway, it wouldn’t have been so bad but it wasn’t tasty at all. The prices are a bit high as well but as for the fries and shakes though😳 Awesome!👍🏼 and the price matches with the quality and quantity. Eliminate a few items from the menu that do not sell as much to invest in better quality burgers. If it wasn't for the shakes and fries I’d probably rate this...

I ordered a philly steak, one sandwich, nothing else, was $12. Ok, I can deal with that. I opened it to eat, it had no cheese, and so much mayonnaise on it I didn’t think I could eat it. Bit into it, the peppers were barely cooked and had lettuce on it. Um lettuce on a hot sandwich is not a good idea. I eventually scrapped the bread that was beyond soggy from the Mayo, and ended up eating the meat with a fork after picking out the slimy lettuce and barely cooked peppers. Probably not gonna be doing that again. **Just FYI…I have ordered the Philly once before here and it was a million times better than what I got today. We went through the drive thru, were given our drinks, and were asked to pull over into parking spot 4, which we did. We had ordered 2 chicken strip baskets. I honestly think they forgot about our order. We sat and waited the longest time. Probably over 30 minutes. Seeing others that had arrived after us leaving with their food. Then I went inside to see where our order was. They asked what we ordered. I had to wait inside more before finally getting our order. My grandkids had been there before, that's why we stopped that day. My granddaughter wanted to go there. It was my first, and probably my last, time there.
