I don’t understand how this business is set to close at 10pm (but stop take out orders at 9:40pm?) and my order is placed on the app at 9:10pm and it says order will be ready within 14 to 24 minutes, I get there at 9:33pm and was instantly told by someone that they are closed, they didn’t have any orders and believes they voided my order. I told them that is untrue as I placed my order online and had proof. As I waited for her to get someone else to deal with me I noticed a large sized pizza box and garlic knot box sitting on the warming tray which looked like it was my order! He had said that my order was canceled and I explained that I never canceled my order and he had said he “tried” to call me to tell me he canceled my order but I received no phone call whatsoever. He then told me that maybe if I learn to answer my phone I would have known it was canceled. I then proceeded to leave very angry at the disrespect I was given by this man and he proceeded to follow me out to my car and telling me how to answer my phone next time! Their was no apology given for having to waste my time and gas (especially how there is a gas shortage at the time!) as I left my newborn at home with my mother in law because I knew their delivery had stopped and was accused of not answering my phone when I never received a call and to follow me out to my vehicle and I am unsure why it was canceled in the first place because the business was technically OPEN and I placed my order in plenty of time prior to closing that there should have been no reason that it was voided/cancelled!! Perhaps they made my pizza and canceled it to keep for themselves or they canceled it so they could leave early! I am sorry but when a business CLOSES at 10pm, (or supposedly 9:40 for takeout), I should be able to place my order at 9:39pm!! All I wanted to do was feed my family after a long day of work!!! You can forget about delivery unless you want it to arrive in the next century, the employees seem like you are bothering them, never friendly, VERY rude and disrespectful! I have contacted corporate to file a complaint and was told someone would be reaching out to me in a few days and have yet to hear from anyone which is why I have been hesitant to write this review.    Read moreI ordered a pizza from the papa john’s pizza in Thomasville, Ga and I was very disappointed with their customer service. I placed my ordered using my phone. I ordered the family special 2 large pizzas. The fist pizza I ordered was the works and the second pizza I wanted pepperoni and ham, however I could not find the right place to add the two toppings so I placed my ordered as a cheese pizza, however I called the restaurant as soon as I had place my ordered and I asked them if they can add the pepperoni and ham on my second pizza since I was allowed a second pizza with 2 toppings. I told them I did not know how to add the toppings on my phone. The manager did not wanted to just add the two toppings. He wanted me to place another new order. I told him that I was driving now to pick up my pizzas and he said I must place a new ordered or he can place a new order for me but that I would have to pay 7.00 more dollars for placing the ordered over the phone. I was upset at that point and told him to cancel my order and to never mind. The manager was rude and hang up the phone on me. I called back and I asked for the name of the manager and I was told “We are not allowed to say his name” that is bull crab. Right now, The economy is bad with the virus were a lot of people are losing job. I think is the time to treat customers with excellent service. They have a job from customer that shop there.    Read moreI placed an order for a small cheese pizza and garlic Parmesan breadsticks around 6:30 PM. The app said it would be ready by 6:40. I got a notification saying the order was ready — great, right? Wrong.
My boyfriend gets there, and the food is still not ready — a full 15 minutes after it was marked as done. We live less than 10 minutes away, and when he finally gets home, the pizza is cold. Turns out, the pizza was ready, but no one gave it to him even though he clearly gave them my name.
To make matters worse, he said the “manager” was fussing at the employees but not actually helping anyone. Total chaos. A DoorDasher who was there before my boyfriend was still waiting on a small pizza and left empty-handed when my boyfriend did.
Now back to the food — the pizza was freezing cold, and don’t even get me started on the breadsticks. They weren’t just freezing cold too — they were practically dry. There was barely any sauce on them, and the little that was there had pooled in the bottom of the box. I literally had to use a spreader to scrape sauce from the box and apply it myself. Seriously?
You pay all this money and can’t even get hot, decent food — or competent service. And on top of that, we had to reheat everything in the oven ourselves. Absolutely unacceptable. We won’t be returning...
