Jimbooo's Italian Beef — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I have been coming to Jimboos for years. The food is nutrient rich and well prepared. Excellence in catering for family & Party Events & WEDDINGS. ⛪️ & FUNERALS. Today, I was particularly happy with my luncheon which was nutrient rich holistic prepared sweet 🥕 carrots, steamed Potatoes 🥔 with Au Jus a large portion of the Best Corned Beef I’ve ever had, Homemade Rye Bread 🍞 and Steamed Cabbage. You will never believe me, but I can tell you that this fulfilled all the requirements of The Health & Human Services and way beyond their basic minimums nutrient richness for human health and thriving.

It will help every working man who needs a meal in their work day or on their way home (Pick-ip before 3PM.) Excellent for trades’ workers who get off at 2 ish. Clean place. Full meal to go or to eat in. You definitely want this for all St Patrick’s Day days events. Remember, the new push for eating healthy is to have quality fruits and veggies and meat, homemade dense nutrient rich foods.

Jim & his family have prepared the best meal in town for me. Thank you. I was hungry.

Jimbooo’s recently catered a funeral luncheon for over 100 people and I cannot say enough good things about the quality of their service, food, delivery, prices and personnel. They were so nice to talk to in every interaction and at every level. Walked us through the selection from their vast menu options and even worked with us to make some of their options vegetarian. They delivered and set up all the food right on time. Our guests raved about how delicious it all was. After everyone ate and even had seconds, we put out ‘to go’ containers and boy did those get filled quickly! Jim himself called me just as the luncheon was ending to not only check on how things went with the food but also cared enough to ask about the services for my dad and how everyone was doing. Jimbooo’s really made a difficult day so much easier on our family and we could not be more grateful. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough....

If you ever find yourself in the southlands, THIS place tucked away by the train tracks near the Thornton quarry is a MUST TRY. The service is so friendly, it's almost awkward. Jim is a really nice guy. Each menu item appears to offer a sizable serving for the price and the taste? Great! I recommend trying the Italian beef, but pull up for a little curbside service and ask them yourself. You will be very happy...
