It's good for what it is. It's a hole in the wall, community lounge. The atmosphere is welcoming, the drinks are strong, and there's never been any drama when I've been there. Mature crowd on Tuesdays for karaoke. And a younger crowd on Thursdays for How Music with $5 drinks. I've never attended on Thursdays but here that it be packed. Not to crowded on Tuesdays, comfortable. This the only picture I have that kind of show the place in the background.

A nightclub in the middle of Harvey. And...it...was....bumpin!!!! On a Thursday!!! Just wow!!! The bar inside is fairly small but well appointed. Since it s summer? They had 3 huge tents...and a great sou d system. It was not only loud? But clear. You could hear the music clearly and the lyrics were clearly discernable from several blocks out. Wow Smittys!!! You are winning!!! The security was also excellent. With the sidewalks all blocked off......with horses and tape and rope. Done well. Bumpin in Harvey!!! If u want a black owned nightclub? With great music? Atmosphere? Vibe? With young AND grown people? You ve found it!!!! I only gave the food the rating I did because I didn't have any. When I do? I ll add to the review. But? DO GO!!!! Ok this club could use some updating cosmetic wise however I'm going to give it at least 3 stars because the drinks were super strong. (5 dollar holla this Thursday!) Yes the club is not big however they do have an outside tent as an option that was a decent size. The music was mainly house music and the vibe inside was fun honestly. I think the crowd (it was pretty packed) consisted of a lot of regulars. Even though the club is in the "hood" I felt safe because everyone was just trying to have a good time. Would I go back? For a strong drink and some house music with no cover...

Came in here on Saturday with friends(bus crawl) for the first time. I’ll NEVER go back!!! My total was $9. Gave her $2 tip, altogether $11. Looking at my transactions/bank statement, it says -$20.00 from Smitty’s. The math ain’t mathing!!! Don’t know the bartenders name but u shady azz heck for that. U didn’t deserve a tip anyway. I stood there while u continued overlooking me & serving everyone else. I’ll never go back in there. I suggest bringing cash if u go there cause...
