We have dined at the Bollywood Restaurant in Westlake many times over the years. The food has been consistently excellent, and we have never been disappointed. The portions are generous. The dishes are reasonably priced especially if you go for their lunch specials. Our favorites are the tandoori platter, the mutton korma and the mutton pasanda. I would recommend their garlic naan and their mutton samosas. If you prefer vegetarian food, try their baingan bharta (eggplant) and ask for extra hot, if you dare! And the service is always very good. I am of Indian origin and am very familiar with Indian food from various parts of India. 0ctober 9, 2024: We had a wonderful lunch at the Bollywood Indian Restaurant on 860 Hampshire Rd, Westlake Village, earlier this month. Each of the lunch specials (mixed tandoori grill, lamb pasanda, lamb korma, and palak paneer)came with garlic naan and aromatic basmati rice. They offered us the option to make each dish mild, medium, hot, or extra hot, at no extra charge. We added a n appetizer of meat samosa and a dessert of pistachio kulfi. They also added papad with their unique tamarind sauce and salad on the house. The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was pleasant. It was not loud. Absolute crooks who treat female customers with a total lack of respect. 3rd time we've placed an order for deliver and food is missing and they denied it. When we've dined there there's always an issue with their dinner for 2 special whete they skimp om the long list of items offered probably in hope that a customer will forget or overlook it. We have dined there 3 times in person and now placed an order for delivery also 3 times and again items are missing. I called to complain to the manager who said the person who made the package said that they did not leave anything out. Well obviously he's not going to say he left something our. How about apologizing to the customer and replacing the missing items instead of arguing and calling a lady customer an idiot. We will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureu and their landlords. There are several good Indian restaurants in Thousand Oaks and Agoura - avoid this one.
