I went for my 2 mile walk around Three Rivers on Friday and stopped at the local cafe, which my daughter in law and I do on some mornings to ask if I could "Pay" for a cup of water. The woman behind the counter didn't look up at me but haphazardly remarked "we are not going to start that today"..(I'm 67 years old, when would she start it) Now I guess she was referring to the day before the Harmony Fest (nothing going happening on that Friday) or maybe she was eluding to my skin tone, but turning away a customer who wants to buy a cup of water certainly wasn't appropriate to me. The sausage gravy is better every time I eat it. It is ground sausage, NOT, chopped up links or patties, thank goodness. ā„ļø The seasoning is wonderful.
My husband ordered the Eastern omelet, which is smoked sausage, peppers and onions, and of course, cheese. American fries and toast. He said it was good, very good.
The service was outstanding. Friendly staff and atmosphere.
