La Morenita — Restaurant in Three Rivers

Loved this little hole in the wall. Food very authentic, fresh handmade corn tortillas and fresh salsa. We had taco de carnitas(shredded pork), asada(steak), campechanos(steak and chorizo) and tripa(tripe) and a torta de millanessa(Mexican sandwich with breaded beef steak) an absolute perfection. Haventvhas a taco like this since LA Fe closed down in Hartford MI. So happy to see they are stocking a little sectional grocery store. And they have tortillas el milagro which is a huge thing. Delicious, authentic food! I want to go back soon so I can try everything on the menu! We had Quesabirria and al pastor. Both were so good! The salsa for the chips was yummy and the sauces for the dishes were top notch. The horchata was really good too.

They have booths and tables for cozy seating. They also do take out.
