Heavenly Pizza- Tiffin — Restaurant in Tiffin

So I’m a Tiffin native. Have nothing but absolute love for Aj’s pizza and I’ve personally done the owners landscaping for the past 2-3 years (John) I order from here regularly, and I always order the same thing. Ever since the new store has opened I’ve had terrible experiences. I don’t know if it’s new staff members or what it is, but since the new store has opened I’ve only ordered from you guys 4-5 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME my order was wrong. I ALWAYS order a pizza sub (no pepperoni, add bacon, extra sauce) and instead of the whole slices of ham I prefer the chopped ham like they put on the pizzas. So I ask for that specifically every single time. Never changes. And every single time I’ve ordered it, they put the whole slices of ham on my sub and it almost always has pepperoni. Few times it didn’t, and it was ALMOST correct. But I have only ordered from the new location maybe 5 times and my sub was wrong every single time. Doesn’t stop me from ordering because I will always enjoy Heavenly pizza. I absolutely love it and always will. However, I just came from getting a carry-out order at the new location. Just got a cheese bread, but saw they serve slices all day now so I figured “why not get a couple right?” Well I did, and I didn’t look at them or anything until I got home… and I definitely regret not looking at them at the store, because I would’ve asked for them to replace the 2 slices I got for new fresher ones. The two I got were almost hard, and absolutely toasted. So once again, I wasn’t very happy with the outcome of spending my money on it. Aj’s Heavenly Pizzs is absolutely amazing and will always be amazing. I just think we need a little more TLC back in the food industry because I shouldn’t have all of this to say about a place I absolutely love. Nothing against the younger generations, but I think a lot of the workers are younger kids… and they just don’t necessarily care a lot about serving good food and having good service and the whole 9 yards. Stopped in on a whim, to have lunch with one of my contractors. I had 4 places in Tiffin already picked out, based on their ratings but each of the 4 were closed. Upon stopping in, we were greeted with smiles and great attitudes. We looked over the menu and placed our orders. Unfortunately, AJ's does not have inside seating, so we sat outside on the picnic tables and discussed some project related issues, while waiting for the Pizzas and other foods. After about 20 minutes our pizzas, cheese bread and other food cake out hot and ready to be experienced. The Pizzas were LOADED with topings ans thr garlic bread was amazing to say the very least. The sauce is a little bit sweet for my personal liking, but that is just a personal preference. The bread seem to have the perfect thickness (Approximately 3/16") and was cooked to a perfect golden brown, without being burned or undercooked. Although it was a little cool outside, the employees made sure we had plates, napkins and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. Personally, I believe the pizza gods were looking out for us that day, because our experience was one to "Write home about". I would definitely return to AJ's Heavenly...

I was excited to have some AJ's Heavenly Pizza delivered after not having it for a very long time. It took almost two hours to get a hot pizza and garlic bread. I placed my order at 7:10. At 8:00 still no pizza (we live five minutes away off Hedges). I called and she said the driver had left a little while ago. Our order arrived at 8:20 (the driver was very nice). The food was not hot. I called and a man answered. I told him what had happened and he offered no apology. He asked if I wanted to swap it out and I said yes. The replacement order arrived a little before 9:00 (the driver was very nice). I asked why I had to give our original order back and she said she didn't know and that it would probably be thrown away. The pizza (14" pepperoni & mushroom) didn't look or taste like it has in the past (it was hot though). The sauce was super sweet and the cheese came off in one big congealed chunk.
