We were returning home last Sunday evening and decided we had a taste for some ice cream...nothing fancy. So we figured on stopping at this McDonald's for the $0.99 cone.
First we had to use the restroom before placing our order. So upon entering the men's restroom, the one urinal was filled to the rim with urine...which led me to believe it was out of order. So I dared not use it and flush, fearing an overflow. Therefore I used the toilet in the stall. RED FLAG #1
Upon returning to the front to place our order, there was a pretty good crowd of people both waiting to place their orders and waiting to receive the food ordered. They only had one of two registers open (which was strange...but not strange), and they seemed to be a bit overwhelmed...but managing as best they could. While waiting, I noticed the posted inspection score of 89/B on the wall which started making me second guess proceeding with ordering our food. Then I looked to my left and noticed that BOTH soda fountains were out of order. THEN I noticed that no one in the front area handling food were wearing any gloves!!! RED FLAG #2
So by now we had placed our order for our cones and were waiting...fighting the urge to cut and run (after getting our money back); but we stayed the course. So this young guy proceeds to make the first ice cream cone. I was a little bothered by him touching the cone with bare hands; BUT his fingers were initially on the paper wrapper around the bottom of the cone. As he was filling the cone, he started to grip the top portion of the cone to complete the process (with his bare hand)!!! He must have put too much ice cream in the cone because he then opened the top of the machine to dump the extra ice cream back in. RED FLAG #3
At this point I told the young man that it was alright, we will get our money back. His surprised reaction (as if trying to figure out what he did wrong) actually surprised us! So just as we were about to get our money back, another lady (maybe the floor supervisor/assistant manager) came forward to make our ice cream cones. She still did not have on any gloves; but she kept contact limited to the paper wrapper on the bottom of the cones. So we...

I sat in line with multiple vehicles ahead of me, when the vehicle in front of me drove up to place their order, they quickly drove off to leave, so I drove up to place my order, an employee came on, and said, “We are closed”! Puzzled, especially looking at the vehicles ahead of me, whose orders had been taken, and they were getting their food, and looking at the time (10:54), I pulled over, and pulled up their website, it stated that they closed at 12, I drove up to the door, and it stated, close at 12. I got back in line, and got to the speaker, employee said, we are closed. I asked her what were there hours, and she said, ma’ am we are out of food. I told her that I had been sitting in line, and didn’t understand how could you take some orders, and not the others. I asked her were they out of everything, and she then asked me, what did I want, I told her that I wanted a 10 piece nugget meal- large - with a Sweet Tea, and to add an additional Large Sweet Tea. She said, we are out of nuggets. I asked her about the (2) Plain Cheeseburger Meal, and she said they were out of that type of meat. I asked did they have fries, and she said yes, so I asked for a large fry, and 2 Large Sweet Teas, and I drove up, and paid her $4.96. I then drove up to get my food, and noticed that the entire drive through area was spotless! I retrieved my food, and noticed that the bag was heavy to be just an order of fries, so I pulled over to check my bag, and guess what, there were nuggets in there. This behavior was very unacceptable, and why would you even put a customer through that. I took out the time to patronize that establishment, my gas, my money, my time. I tried to send in a complaint on the McDonald’s website 5 times, but it kept deleting my information when I was asked to select the location. Nothing about me...
Read moreThe lady at the first window in the morning shift is the rudest person ever! Had an issue with her this Thursday (4/3/25) around 9:30am. I pulled over at the first ordering machine and spoke, but didn’t recieve an answer at all and waited a bit even though I was a little bit in a hurry because of college. I assumed it didn’t work, so I pulled over to the next machine and spoke but didn’t recieve an answer, so I assumed it wasn’t working either. I decided I was going to order at the window instead, which was something she must not have liked. I wasn’t being impatient at the moment, I just assumed the machine was not working and thought it would be better for me to order at the window. As I pulled forward, I noticed from far away that she gave me a very angry stare and she was shaking her head at me. At first I tried to think that that was the way she stared or looked and didn’t give it importance, until I pulled to the window. I pulled the window down and smiled at her about to greet her, when all of a sudden she gave an attitude and started yelling at me, questioning me why did I pull forward and telling me I should have waited more, causing an argument from her part. She was very rude, and that is not the type of employees that should be hired in a restaurant. I wouldn’t have had an issue, if she would have respectfully had explained her point to me without YELLING at me like she did. As a matter of fact, she shouldn’t have had an issue since there is a sign that says that customers can pull over to the window if there is an issue when ordering. With her attitude, I decided to skip breakfast and left her at the window with her attitude. I was not going to waste time argueing with her, but did give me a bad moment. Through this, I would like McDonalds to know the type of employee they hired and the type of service that is being represented through...
