I love the old-time nostalgic feeling of these types of drive-ins. You feel like you’re going back in time to the 50’s-70’s. As for the prices, they are reasonable. They have a drive thru which is nice. As for the food, I ordered a cheeseburger with all the toppings, a chili dog with onions, and a large drink. The total was a little over $10 which wasn’t expensive but also wasn’t cheap. My hot dog was literally red, making me think it contained some sort of food coloring. Not a big deal, but also kinda perplexing. It was good though. Small, simple, ate in like 30 seconds. Would get it again, but wouldn’t be enough having just one. The cheeseburger was small and simple, Not bad, but not memorable. The burger was not the smashed type you usually see at these types of throwback places. It seemed like a small frozen burger, not freshly made. The bun seemed like the generic store bought type. Overall, not impressed with the burger and would say get a couple chili dogs instead if you only came to this place one time. The burger was edible though, and I had no complaints about it, but it was not as good as a typical fast food place. The lady at the counter wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t that good. Seemed like she was new? I ended up ordering things a la carte because it was my first time there. Afterwards, I realized I could have ordered a combo, which included fries, for the same price. It would have been nice if the counter lady was knowledgeable enough to recommend that, especially when I directly brought up my thoughts about it to her. Oh well, not a huge deal, but I think she knew because she was about to put fries in my bag and then opted not to.

Monday September-25-2023 14:59 I personally wasn't a fan. I don't understand the hype at all. The food is mediocre. Personally I think the place should be shut down. I've had better food from McDonald's of all places. The workers are lazy, and have bad attitudes. They walk around the establishment pretending to be busy. I literally watched the three workers stare at a customer coming through the drive through. The customer ended up driving off. The building is dilapidated, it almost looks abandoned. There were burnt black bits in my fries. The fries have zero flavor. The portions are incredibly small. Their ice cream machine was "broken". I personally think the workers were just being lazy, and didn't want to make it. There was only a tiny menu sign at the drive through window. The hamburger had zero flavor. The tomato on the burger was squishy. The lettuce on the burger was wilted. The hamburger patties were very small and flavorless. Not a hint of seasoning on anything. My husband and I asked for double patty burgers. We both received singles, but were charged for doubles. I didn't feel like dealing with the unpleasant employees. I decided to just eat the garbage because I was starving. Luckily, the prices are cheap so we didn't spend a fortune on this garbage. The ice is really good though. Those are the only good things I have to say about this place. This was my first time eating here. I'm not sure if I'd try this place again. More thank likely I wouldn't. Not my cup of tea.

Really wanted to like this place, as one of my best buddies grew up in Tifton and recommended the spot. Seems like a very popular location, as there was a line standing outside as well as at the drive-thru. Ordered a cheeseburger, chili cheese dog, and a large sweet tea, which came to over $7. Also ordered an order of fries, but the cashier said she forgot and also didn't charge me for it. Oh well.....so got my food. To my disappointment, the burger was cold. Like patty was cooked a long time ago cold. The chili dog looked okay and was the right temperature. However, I didn't care for the chili, as it didn't have much texture to it. Almost like brown baby food. Even the tea was a disappointment, as it was merely light brown sweet water. Really should've taken the burger back and swapped the tea for a soda, but I just chalked it up as a L for the home team and left. That being said, I may be willing to try them again whenever I'm in the area again. Perhaps something different.

This took place today at Shady lane! A lady and her children had to witness extremely piss poor service to an elderly woman !!! READ BELOW!

We stop by today right before closing time (5:30) the cashier lets us know they only have dogs and they are about to close very soon. We put in our order and pay. While we are ordering there is a car in the drive thru and the cashier states that their drive thru is closed and that she will let the car sit there and I guess figure it out. Eventually after a couple of minutes she told the driver that they needed to park and come to the window. The driver finally understood and drove around to park.

An elderly woman proceeds to get out of the vechile. The cashier yells at her while she’s getting out “WE ONLY HAVE DOGS” (her tone was aggressive and loud not at all the way she told us) the elderly woman continues walking towards her (slowly because she walked with a cane) and I heard the elderly woman somewhat mumble “good that’s exactly what i came for” and the cashier yells at her again “NO SANDWICHES ONLY DOGS” (aggressive and loud) interrupting her. and the elderly woman speaks up and says “ok I’ll get 2 chili cheese dogs” but while she’s saying that the cashier interrupts and yells at her AGAIN “WE CLOSE IN TWO MINUTES” the elderly woman becomes defensive and says “well why do you keep talking while I’m talking?” She was confused as to why this cashier kept interrupting her and yelling at her. The elderly woman proceeds to say she wanted 2 chili cheese dogs again but before she finished saying it the cashier slammed the window on her. The elderly woman stood there in confusion and disbelief. My children and I were also in disbelief. The elderly woman stood there and waited a couple of seconds and said “what did you say I didn’t hear you” (mind you the elderly woman was not at all being rude to the cashier) and while the elderly woman waited for a response the cashier slammed the long piece of wood that they lock their window with and went to the back completely ignoring the elderly woman. The elderly woman returned to her car (I’m sure she was hurt and comfused) and left. We all sat there in disbelief. Why did she just treat her like that? Why? Why? My 6 year old says “mom she didn’t treat us like that why did she treat her like that she was probably hungry that’s not fair” It was very sad to watch. If the elderly woman didn’t cry from anger or sadness I cried for her because that was very hard to watch. I don’t know the name of the cashier but if she is able to see her elderly years I hope she remembers how she treated this elderly woman because we aren’t young and...
