Tift Theatre — Attraction in Tifton

This venue and the experience I had there tonight was nothing short of incredible! The staff are SO friendly and they answer any questions you might have. Also, the acoustics are spot on (IF you're going there for a concert. Any other type of event, I can't speak to since this was my first visit here). The seats are SUPER comfortable and have more than enough leg room! I'm 6 feet tall and this place has the most "roomy" seats I've ever had the pleasure of sitting in. Also, they rock back and forth and at the same time they don't bother the person sitting directly behind you.

If you see a band or even a Broadway show that's coming here, I couldn't recommend the Tift Theatre enough!

I do have to say though that they are making BIG bucks with the snacks! A 2 pack of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups cost $2 but if you've got a sweet tooth then you'll definitely put out the money for the goods.

The architectural glories of downtown Tifton don’t end at the turn of the century as you’ll uncover for yourself if you take a trip to the Tift Theatre.

First opened in 1937, the structure is a fine example of the Art Deco period, with smooth curving lines drawing people in from far and wide.

Went for the annual Ga Forestry Pageant both weekends. The building itself is small but large enough to house the pageant. It rained that weekend all weekend. All of the ladies in the dressing rooms were forced to vacate bc of flooding. The sound crew was terrible. If it was not too loud it was way too low. The feedback was horrendous. The bldg itself was nostalgic but in a dated way not a remodeled in nostalgia way. Seats were extremely...
