Midnight Cookies USA — Restaurant in Tigard

This evening my husband and I had the epic fortune of tasting some cookies from Midnight Cookies that we've never had before. We've ordered from them a few times already but I'm combining them all in to one big, happy review for your reading pleasure.

Since they've opened, we have tried the Death by Chocolate Oreos, the Cinnamon Roll Waffle, the Midnight Waffle Brownies, the (limited edition!) Peanut Butter Cup Oreos, the Funfetti Birthday Cake cookie, the Loaded S'mores cookie, and the Frosted Oatmeal Raisin cookie. Can you tell we love dessert?

For starters, every single thing we've tasted has been DELISH. The cinnamon waffles are the stuff of dreams, especially with the maple dip. It's hands down my go-to dessert. My husband fell in love with the funfetti cookie and we're doomed to order from here forever now. Even my dad fell in love with the S'mores cookies - which, as my husband pointed out, really brings home that campfire feeling by being very similar to an actual s'more to eat. Less messy, thankfully.

The cookies here are an obscenely perfect texture. The oatmeal cookie, while not my normal favorite, is a classic cookie done to perfection and tastes like a hint of Christmas. The waffle brownies are a perfect brownie texture while still being, somehow, actually a waffle.

Delivery is easy to set up and fast, and so far we've had only awesome experiences. The couple that runs the business is lovely and personable, and I hope they keep making and delivering desserts for as long as we live here! We're happy customers. I ordered cookies from Midnight Cookies Delivery on June 21st (for my kid’s birthday - which is June 25th). I verified that the company would be able to deliver that quickly (website states 2 day shipping - orders made on Monday through Wednesday are guaranteed delivery by Friday) NOTE: they are only shipping from Oregon to California. So I ordered the mix and match 6 cookies (which is 50 bucks). Because I didn’t specify which 6 cookies I wanted, someone from the company texted me and asked me. I was happy with the communication and figured all was well. On June 22nd, I received a USPS tracking number for my order but it had not shipped. It did not ship on the 23rd, 24th, or 25th. On June 25th (my kids birthday), I called the company twice - no answer. I then texted the number from the other night and he/she responded saying “the order is delayed due to the oven being broken”. Well that’s fine, those things happen….so I asked for a refund. The cookies weren’t making it for my kids birthday. And I was told no, no refund - because he/she had dropped off the cookies just then and they would still get to me within 2 days. My greatest frustration is that he/she communicated just fine with me when I didnt specify which cookies I wanted…but when the cookies were going to be late, he/she didn’t say anything to me. BAD BUSINESS. This tells me that you make promises you can’t keep and when you can’t keep them…you do sketchy things. I deserve a refund. And please do not try to be rude in your reply back to this review (like you have done below). I have the tracking emails and text messages to prove...

"I was visiting a friend in the area and asked "what's the cool trendy thing to do in Tualatin?" He said- order Midnight Cookies Delivery ofcourse! We called and talked with Awmna- the owner/baker, she was extremely helpful and recommended the brownie waffles for our chocolate craving. We ordered the 5 for 15 box: chocolate chip cookies, birthday cookies, vegan pumpkin fritter. Death by chocolate oreos and Brownie waffles. Everything was absolutely delicious. The cookies were magical, some of the best I've ever had! And those waffles aren't your typical waffle, they are just shaped like a waffle but the texture is like a fluffy warm brownie!!! So amazing! To top it off, this company is owned by the family that handcrafts and delivers the treats- definitely worthy of all the support from hungry people. Excellent idea, excellent customer service, and excellent food- no wonder it's the cool...
