Kabajoi Mediterranean Restaurant offers a delightful array of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. Located conveniently, it provides a welcoming atmosphere suitable for families.
Food Quality We sampled a variety of dishes during our visit, and overall, the food quality was commendable.
Kabobs and Shawarma: The kabobs and shawarma were flavorful and well-prepared, earning a solid 4 out of 5. The meats were tender and seasoned to perfection, providing a satisfying dining experience. Hummus: The hummus, while decent, did not stand out as much as the other dishes. It was a bit bland and could use more seasoning, thus receiving a 3 out of 10 Fries: Surprisingly, the fries were a highlight of the meal. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked, deserving a 5 out of 5. Kids Meals: The kids' meals were notably large, offering great value for families. The portions were generous, ensuring that even the hungriest little diners were satisfied.
Service The service at Kababji was acceptable but left room for improvement. The staff was friendly and courteous, but the service was a bit slow, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. This aspect of the visit would rate around a 3 out of 5.
Ambiance The restaurant boasts a cozy and inviting ambiance, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. The decor needs a bit of attention, the facilities is a bit tired, the bathroom is in need of upgrade.
Conclusion Kababji Mediterranean Restaurant is a solid choice for those looking to enjoy authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in service speed and the seasoning of certain dishes, the overall experience is positive. The standout items like the kabobs, shawarma, and fries make it worth a visit. Families will appreciate the generous portions of the kids' meals, making it a family-friendly...
Read moreOur first time to eat here. The decor is simple, but the food is exceptional. We ordered grape leaves and falafel as appetizers for our Sunday lunch. Wonderfully flavorful and super quick and courteous service from the kitchen to our table. My wife and daughter (who was less than enthusiastic about trying mediterranean cuisine when I informed her where we'd be having lunch) absolutely loved the shawerma. We all tried and loved the flavorful baba ganouj. I had the lamb kabab with hummus and the fattoush salad and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Portions were very generous, and my wife and daughter enjoyed their leftovers for a meal the next day. There was nothing on the menu I wouldn't try at least once!! Well...except the Turkish coffee - but I don't like any form of coffee, so that wouldn't be a reason for you not to try it!
We will definitely return. You owe it to yourself to give Kabab Jo a try.
Expect to spend between $15 - $25 per person depending on whether you...
Read moreAll our food was freshly prepared and delicious! Our Greek salad started the meal off right with fresh greens, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, olives and feta. Their Greek dressing was delicious. Next came tabouli, baba ganoush, and hummus all beautifully prepared and equally delicious. Pita was the perfect vehicle for transporting the hummus and baga ganoush to my mouth. The mixed grill let us sample the lamb, chicken, and beef kifta kabobs which were all delicious. The tahini with sumac and garlic sauces were on point. My friend loved her baklava.
The kids meal chicken tenders were a large portion and my son enjoyed the tenders and french fries.
Great experience overall and I would...
