Clubhouse Sports Bar Restaurant & Grill — Restaurant in Virginia

The clubhouse has many pool tables different types of food for a bar . Large outside patio for nice days/evening or just a smoke break. The staff and owners are wonderful and very helpful. The best location with mist pool tables in Lynchburg. Many tournaments but also usually tables are open but if not can't find a place to play for .50 cents anywhere. Also play poker and machines give vouchers for food You can here all the local bands on weekends and usually cover is only 5 bucks...There is awesome security so if a woman wanting to come alone there are no problems at this location.. Truthfully been going here since openned and now expanding to include bigger stage/dance area and I believe a restaurant. But it is a great place for beginning pool players as well as leagues and many TVs for us sports advocates as well. It is not located directly on Timberlake Rd but if coming off 460 from Roanoke direction get off at the Timberlake Exit and will be on Rt side located at stop light pass Walgreens/Exxon if other direction already on Timberlake Rd will pass McDonald's and bext light turn Left... an Auto Store located on corner where you make left at light. To he Clubhouse Bar and Grill will be on the Rt directly after Auto Store. If visiting location during the week there are some other places BUT NO POOL TABLES OR SAME ATMOSPHERE AS THE CLUBHOUSE but can have a last call drink or Waffle House newly built rite down the road. Once again very comfortable place shorts/jeans or even sun dress. Can feel comfortable in whatever you are wearing and know vehicle and the environment is one that is friendly and safe. If you try The Clubhouse once promise you will be coming back. Staff/Security and Owner are all about you having fun and No Other Place Offers Tables Music Dancing and watching Sports much less has great food card games and Excellent...

This was our first visit to the clubhouse. We went on a Saturday night. Someone told us how much they enjoyed the wings there... I have not found wings locally as they make them up in Buffalo NY...

We ordered parmesan garlic wings, nachos, and fried pickles. The unbreaded wings are fried just like I remember them in up north. Very nice! The parmesan garlic sause was made in a thick style with real grated parmesan cheese. The taste was very good! The only thing that might have been better would be if the sauses could have coated the wings better and then add the parmesan cheese. The nachos were very nice with plenty of fresh toppings. The fried pickles were a first for us and I thought they were tasty. There was live music was by a band called Rare Form. I thought they sounded very good for such a challenging acoustic environment. The vocals sounded pleasing and you understand the words. The guitar, bass and drum work were spot on. The lead guitarist really impressed me with some of his work.

Be warned that the music is very loud and you will find it hard to carry a conversation unless you are down by the pool tables.

We did not play pool but might give that a try on another visit. It looked like quite a few tables from where we sat near the stage and bar area.

I recommend giving it a try. I thought the food was high end considering some of the food I have had...

I Tried this place because I knew they had wings and wanted to try somewhere different. We decided to go with an 18 count traditional half and half set of wings. The total was 17.99 for the 18 count. I placed my order to go and when I picked up my order my total was $23 plus tax. I just figured they had an high tax which is why my order was more than expected. I payed with a debit card and I checked my statement days later and notice they decided to add a tip and charged my card $26.00 instead of what I was originally charged. So for a Togo order of 18 count of small wings (yes the wings were little) that should have been $18 I ended up paying almost $30 for them. That’s crazy. And yes this was my first time going here. Might as well go to Pizza Hut or O.I.P’s if you want what you pay for. Or just don’t pay with a card at this place because they may decide to over charge your card.
