Ordered the Meatball sandwich. It was really good. Nice crispy roll and the meatballs were a decent size . Nice Italian flavor . From now on it's my go to place for a Meatball sandwich..Because really who doesn't love a Meatball sandwich!! UPDATE : I Got the meatball sandwich again bc the last one was perfect. Unfortunately this time around I was disappointed. The meatballs were not cooked properly. They were black on the outside and soft n almost mushy on the inside. No great Italian flavor . the tomato gravy was almost non existent. So either someone was in a hurry or inexperienced. The roll wasn't the normal Italian roll I expected. It was plain and kinda blah . I also ordered the potato skins . Big chunks of bacon instead of chopped so it made taking a bite difficult and the cheese was hard with no flavor. If it was MacDonalds I wouldn't put up a review because it's MacDonalds. In total I paid $23 and some change + tip , for sub par food . Ugh !! Not a good experience even for $23 and some change . I think next time I'll just eat a PBJ and donate the $23 to St. Jude's Hospital. At least I'll know it's money...
Read moreI very rarely visit the same restaurant twice, but It was monday and I needed a "hip" restaurant to visit for a special occasion. An amazing experience once again! This time I was with one other person. We show up to the bar area and mentioned that it's the eve of my wife's birthday.
Immediately he served up some "special mixes" not on the menu and we were escorted to our table in one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Manhattan. We ordered the lobster egg rolls(an absolute must), the monk fish, bbq eel fried rice and the cracked chilly chicken. Everything was excellent (from the point of view that this place serves up high end American style chinese food).
For dessert we got the bread pudding. The best bread pudding I ever had! My wife engulfed it even though she absolutely hates sweets.
Great spot. You will see some tourists here. You'll also find your fair share of suits and suits disguised in their...
Read moreI recently visited Kelly’s Corner , and it was a pretty enjoyable experience overall. The place has a cozy, down-to-earth vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of local spot where you can kick back and relax.
The food is solid, with classic pub fare that hits the spot. The wings are a crowd favorite, and I can see why—they’re flavorful and cooked just right. Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth.
Service is friendly, though it can be a bit slow when it gets busy. But the staff is attentive, and they make sure you’re taken care of, even during peak times.
Overall, Kelly’s Corner is a great neighborhood hangout. If you’re in the area and looking for a laid-back spot with good food and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s definitely worth...
