The employees majority of servers need to take care of their customers and stop hiding in a corner gossiping then expecting a tip...
For example tonight I ordered a drink I ordered some food my appetizer showed up she didn't even stay long enough for me to ask for something to go on the side with it, disappeared most of the time, other service talking among each other how someone asked for service and then he just told different Server oh I just told them to figure it out what rude staff you have I would fire them or have them retrained and definitely look over the tape on the manager on duty that night meaning tonight... have him/her retrained but that bar could've made a lot of money tonight... the service wasn't there the waiters were more focused on having fun amongst each other's like it was high school, yes I understand it's supposed to be a fun environment but while being efficient and it was not.
The GM of this Applebee's needs to take better care of this location especially weekend night shift
I'm just annoyed that I didn't even have anything to drink with my main meal because she took so long to show up and I had an empty glass for a while... I didn't get my second beer until I was halfway through my main course. When I ordered my beer before my food showed up to the table.
It's beer on draft it's not hard to go to the bar grab it come back, a normal server would've waited for the beer to be poured and then dropped it off.
But something was more important of watching drunk people on the patio that's been there all day they said been taking care of everybody else when that wasn't even their section...
So many of her tables were dissatisfied I've seen more Applebee's with less employees run more efficiently across the US
Sadly I live with in a mile plus this was convenient but I won't be coming back, the service must stay at worse every time.
And the biggest factor is the employees are extremely rude
They need to wake up call and understand how to make money is...
Read moreVisited the Tinton Falls location last night was greeted by a nice blue haired women. She informed that they had experienced a power outage so the wait would be about 20 minutes. Once inside another women stated something similar and asked for our names and phone number. So we decided to wait. At that moment there were 3 men sitting at the bar. And 4 other people sitting in the waiting area besides myself and my husband. After some time the computers seemed to have come back up because I heard the bartender inform one of the gentlemen h the cost of his drink as well as the appetizer he wanted to order. The women whom took my information proceeded to sit the first couple that had already been waiting prior to my arrival at the restaurant. So while waiting I decided to sit down as I was previously standing during the waiting period. The women returns and tells the couple that came in after me that she would be seating them. The customer informed her that we were first but the hostess women said No! You guys are first. So here we are still waiting the hostess women never returns back to seat us. She is chatting with the other workers. Now I do understand there was an outage and we very well could have just left. The hostess women seemed to have no regard that we were still waiting. She never came back to say I’m sorry we are still waiting for …. Nothing. Again there were only 6 customers because one of the men sitting at the bar left. We’re we supposed to just sit ourselves? We’re we supposed to wait until my phone notified us that they were ready? Finally I left disappointed at how we were treated. Poor...
Read moreI had reservations coming here prior to our movie at 7pm, given the history of chain restaurants. Ember and Eagle is closed on Sundays and my wife and I wanted a place for apps and a drink.
The place is excellent for watching sports due to multiple tvs everywhere while sitting at the bar. Maitre D was courteous and welcomed us to the restaurant. We sat at the bar.
I thought about ordering wings since I always try wings at every restaurant I go to, my favorite food, but for the price of $18 vs a full rack of ribs for $26, it was a no brainer. My wife ordered the sirloin steak rare and potatoes.
Surprisingly, our food was amazing. For the price that’s about $7-8 cheaper than Salt Creek Grille for $32ish, their ribs were scrumptious and fall off the bone tender. I had the Hot Honey sauce which was amazing. Yeah, it didn’t come with Parmesan waffle fries like SCG, but their fries were great, better than most fast food places.
My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly rare and for a sirloin it was great. Yes it wasn’t prime steak but it only costs $25 and not upwards of $80. Her steak was definitely better than Outback.
We concluded that it all depends on who’s cooking and I have to commend the cook who made our dinner on Sunday Aug 3 at 6pm. We have no complaints and if we are in town and need a good meal at a very reasonable price, Applebees in Eatontown is the...
