Stopped here today on our way through Tipp City. We had never been to this newly built Taco Bell but hoped it would be much better than the old one down the street....guest we expected to much. Ordered from a friendly cashier and then it went down hill. There were five employees working...well, there were five employees there, cant honestly say they were all actually working. Anyone who came in waited at least 10-15 minutes for their food. Our 8 items took about 18 minutes, and before you ask (chalupa, 2 crunch wraps, soft taco, hard taco, 3 drinks). While waiting we sat down at one of only two clean tables. My 2 year old is smart enough to use a towel if they need the training. Watched 2 of the 5 employees take 2 trash cans with wheels out to the dumpster (not sure why it took 2 for 2 when they needed the help inside). One of the 2 took his second smoke break in less than 10 minutes. Food was ok but poorly wrapped. Guess they have so many customers they can afford to have terrible service and sub-par food. Whatever happened to companies caring about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm rating this place 5 stars, for a Taco Bell. Compared to the TB in Troy and the others I have been to in the last year, this one exceeds expectations.
The only two negatives to mention were that the nacho cheese cup was not even half full, a surprise on something so simple, and the drive thru was rather slow, taking 3 - 5 minutes per vehicle to get each their orders. Way too slow when there are ample employees in the restaurant.
But, that is where the negative ends and the positive begins. This is the first time I've felt full after eating at a Taco Bell in quite some time. If that nacho cheese cup was light, nothing else was. All other items were a bit more full than the ones I've gotten at any other location in a long time. Even the cinnamon twists were loaded down with sugar and cinnamon so that you could actually taste it, and were easily the best ones I've had in many years.
The lady in the drive-thru was polite, smiled constantly, and was quite charming!
For once, I left a Taco Bell not feeling like I had been totally ripped off! Thank you,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFull disclosure: I am not the biggest fan of Mexican food, however, when I'm hungry it is extremely difficult to sway me a negative manner regarding food. This place accomplished that and then some. Quesadilla was haphazardly thrown into the bag with what could only be described as the surgical precision cutting of a spork. Our food took a good twenty minutes to be completed, one item was completely lacking in sauce. The only people in the restaurant were four older, but once the bell of the ball no doubt, golden girls; I'm not really sure why the delay, with a staff of four ( although it's really only fair to count 3.5 since the portly gentleman stayed in the bathroom for the entirety after our order was placed. Maybe he is the anchor which rights the boat, too bad he seemed to be setting sail on the porcelain seas.) All in all, I'm not a big fast food guy but, this place was the worst of the worst, if I was able to leave 0 I'd try and find the -1 button. Next time I drive by, I'll be sure to gorge myself on almonds...
