Boomarang Diner - Tishomingo — Restaurant in Tishomingo

It says on the menu that all dinners come with a side. When we ordered our burgers, she asked us if we wanted fries or tots, so we asked for our fries or tots. When my girls ordered their pancake special, she asked them if they wanted toast or biscuits, so they asked for toast. When we got the bill, it was $100. The fries, tots, and toast were all charged separate. I'm not sure why we paid $10 for a burger and another $4 for a side of fries and toast that she offered as if it was part of the meal. Those prices are what you'd pay at a restaurant, not a Diner. This is a diner. On top of that, she was the only person working the front on a busy day. The cook kept trying to help run plates for her. She did her best with the service, but it's unreasonable to only have on person running the front on a holiday evening. If you're going to charge restaurant prices for food, at least be adequately staffed. Your profit margins are through the roof with those prices. You can afford to have at least two people...

On gah the tishomingo boomerangs is literally the worst, always gets food wrong, unprofessional service (I have a good bit of my life in food service and know the difference between laid back and just being lazy)... Good example: last time I had to ask where my wife's mashed potatoes were like several times because I had already finished my burger and she's still sitting there with nothing, when she finally got it? Tossed together and without a spoon. They also forgot our fries but still made us pay for them? This can be remedied real easy, first step. Have the server always write down the order, mine didn't and something I asked to not be on my burger... Was on my burger, issue, said thing is something I'm allergic to. So like... Why? The waitresses were very polite and cheerful... that's the only reason it got 2 stars. I ordered a double quarter pound cheeseburger and cheese tater tots and a single slice of bacon on the side. The bacon and extra patty was for my pup. The burger patty was very dry and overcooked, the bottom bun was hard around the edge, flavor was okay but I couldn't enjoy it. The cheese used for the tots was cheddar (which gets very oily and rubberized when melted over tots). They microwaved it (extra rubbery and chewy). The cheese fused with the wax paper liner.
