My husband and I came in with our son to Shake and Bake. The name allured us to come in. The atmosphere was so welcoming and the finish out of Tolars original hardware store was adorable and quaint. The service was amazing- it was like I was sitting in the kitchen of a family member’s home. The owner made my son a made to order breakfast (which he devoured) the breakfast croissants are so good- highly recommended and the iced coffeees! We popped in here while on our way back to Fort Worth and wow I am glad I did! We had an excellent iced coffee and flavored tea! Did not have time to eat but the salad bar and baked goods look delicious! I loved the decor and ambiance! Gorgeous stone walls, wood ceilings, and floor all original to the time it was built which is very unique and cool! Everyone was very friendly and I felt very welcomed! First off the food (I had the croissant breakfast sandwich) was amazing! The croissant melted in my mouth and the farm fresh eggs were perfectly cooked. The blackberry lemonade, I added hydrate, was delicious and quenched my thirst.
