"Awesome Wings, 1488 W. Sylvania, inspected Dec. 9. Facility was ordered closed because of unsanitary conditions. The three-bay sink was not functional because of sewage backup in its bays and wares thus could not be washed or sanitized properly. Employees were not verifiably informed of their duty to report illnesses relevant to food safety. No hand-washing sinks were stocked with soap or paper towels. The prep-top cooler’s cutting board had not been cleaned properly in an extended time; a nasty odor came from its underside when lifted, liquid was pooled beneath it, and a mold-like substance was on its underside and on top of the cooler. Food containers in the one-door upright freezer were encrusted in ice and frost inside and out. Foods were stored in these containers despite their not having been cleaned recently. They always have Bomb food I order from them at least once a week everybody is very nice and they have good timing on their service with delivery also and Linda definitely went out her way to make it a pleasant experience

Updated to April 2022 zero Stars very disappointed I was overcharged on my food I ordered five garlic parmesan wings and five plain wings and they charged me two separate transactions the fried Chicken didn't have any breading on it it's like they just threw the chicken wings in the fryer and I hate it like that that's not fried chicken period my funnel sticks were totally soggy and filled with grease and the delivery driver did not listen to directions and deliver it to the wrong house... I never had a problem with this place in the past but it seems like it's going down the drain very...

We tried this place 2 wks ago; after moving into our new home. We got the jumbo wings and a salad was delicous. Bill got some this past week when his brother was helping him out, again more than pleased. And on Wednesday night after having surgery, ordered from another restuarant that uses postmates for delivery, 2.5 hrs after order was placed I got a call from the restaurant that my order was picked up, but it was never delivered. After not eating for 16 hrs, I was starving. I called Awesome Wings again. The wings, coleslaw and hummus were perfect, and they delivered in a decent amount of time as well.
