Bartenders were extremely sweet and this review is not reflective of their service and character. A friend and I went here today for their St.Patty's day deal and had been there for almost 3 hrs (mind you we were the only people of color here). Randomly "the manager" came up to my friend as i was in the restroom and said he needed to take our chairs (which i still had my purse hanging from). she informed him that i was in the bathroom and asked why exactly he needed the chairs (as he did not disclose he even worked there and we were under the assumption he was a patron and other patrons had their chairs), to which he responded that he just needed them and that my friend could leave if she didn't adhere and give the chairs up. i came out to see them speaking and i attempted to ask exactly what was happening as i wasn't there when everything started and was met with "you have 30 seconds to leave or else i'm calling the police", all while slurring his speech and accusing us of being "too drunk" while we sat, politely talked amongst ourselves, and had no issues for the time we'd been there prior. i had an open tab and asked the bartender to close me out so we could leave, as he'd rudely demanded, and he continued to yell that i had 30 seconds to leave or else the police would be called (even after no longer engaging with him) i signed and left. very terrible and unfortunate that this situation couldn't be handled professionally on the management end. behavior like this is extremely bad for business and i would hate for it affect the lovely bartender's income in the long run, as they were extremely...

I knew racism exists in this world and if you want to experience extreme racism, Welcome to Jake's 😊😊..... today they crossed all the limits of racism when I went with 4 of my friends to have a drink. The security guy who checks everyone ID was absolutely rude with us when we showed our IDs to him for entering the bar. This person refused an entry to us without stating any reason firstly..... Secondly he asked my friend to take off his hoodie God knows why (maybe he was drunk ) ...This person then pushed me and my group of friends which included 2 girls, when we told him why are you pushing us he even pushed us harder directing some offensive words on us and asked us to exit the bar . Is the management even checking the background of the person who is working as a bouncer before hiring them ?? Is this the way you guys treat your customers ???? Just because we were not from this country we got treated so badly. If you guys don't want people coming inside your bar from other countries just put a board outside and State below we are not Jake's but Jerk's and we don't take people in from...

Serious Concern About Manager’s Racial Behavior Toward Customers

I want to bring to your attention that the current manager has been acting in a very racist and discriminatory way toward customers. Many regulars have noticed this and stopped coming because of how they or others were treated. This kind of behavior is damaging the business’s reputation and driving away loyal customers.

It’s also concerning that two of the best security guards, who were always respectful and professional, were recently let go. The environment has become very uncomfortable for everyone who comes in. I hope this issue can be investigated and handled properly before...
