How? How in the world? Are these people oblivious to the fact that we are living in a post-pandemic era with an unwarranted unfortunate side effect in the labor force in which you're not supposed to enjoy your job based on plenty of evidence I've experienced of other establishments. You're not supposed to be professional and courteous if you are to adhere to the current norm. At the foundation of the pandemic our government offered assistance and the intention was good yet it unfortunately unfolded a new day in which on Labor Day this September maybe the celebration should be if people go to work as opposed to taking the day off for a picnic. This picnic has gone on too long. There is a secret ingredient in the sauce of this fabulous Pizza that I have come to enjoy on my third visit within the past month upon discovering Marcos. But the ingredient that truly amazes me more than anything is what is clearly evident in the youth employed here along with all employees spearheaded by a genuine enthusiastic general manager Tina. Tonight while I was waiting for them to finish my pizza which has never been an issue, (it takes them at most 10 minutes), there were six staff members which is unheard of these lazy days, all present at the same time. They were engaging with each other, there was laughter, there were people calling each other by name. It is an incredible production to watch develop in front of you as there are many pizzas being called in at any moment. The dedicated worth ethic at this location appears that they have not heard about the post pandemic malaise in which employees call off at the last moment so their peers have to labor twice as much and twice as fast, coworkers who simply don't show up, people who do not apply, businesses that have to close their operations due to lack of staffing. I have always believed that the manager can set a tone and it is a domino effect. If you are great at the top, as undoubtedly is Tina, others will follow. I believe Northwest Ohio businesses would benefit abundantly if they would implement the standards here on Laskey Road as Marco continues to raise the bar for setting the standard high providing not simply a service, yet rather an appreciation for the guests whom without there would be no jobs or profits. It is too unfortunate these days to walk into a place and unsurprisingly at this point to have to wait for the staff to get off their cell phones. LOL. Congratulations Tina and everyone. There may be times you feel you have a thankless job but trust me many of us or most...
Read moreI’m on the road a lot. I’ve been to numerous Marcos. I always get the vegi-bowl, no cheese, extra mushrooms. I walked in said what I wanted and the kid said, “You can’t get extra mushrooms.” Every other Marcos gives me extra mushrooms. I’ll pay. 🤷🏼♂️ “You can’t get extra mushrooms in a bowl.” Okay…. So no extra mushrooms. That’s cool. My bowl comes out and it is the scrimpiest little thing I have ever seen with almost no sauce. I said, “I’m sorry sir! I don’t like to complain but there’s hardly any sauce in here.” He looked, said, “Yep! That’s the right amount.”, turned and walked off. Note to self! Never go back to this place. (You should fire the little dude with the beard that was running the register on 11/28/23 at 6:45 p.m. Very lousy customer service! (Oh and I tipped 40% prior to realizing what I was about to get.)
Update: First, I didn’t take a single bight out of either of these before the pictures. (Unbelievable) I was still hungry so I stopped at Marco’s in Defiance, Ohio on my way through. Let’s just say Defiance makes there’s a whole lot different! When I walked in the door, everyone working said,...
Read moreMarcos does it do cash any more only credit cards the pizza is a rip off charges $3.00 extra for a Specialty pizza And the ad said it was a $12.99 deal because it came with breadsticks and altogether it was $25.99 that is a total lie and a total rip off sorry Marco’s that’s false advertisement why charged us three dollars for an extra specialty pizza that doesn’t make no sense to me seriously some of these places are going to go out of business someday because they’re charging for every little thing it’s really ridiculous now I just get all my food and pizza at the grocery store now because it’s cheaper and I don’t have to worry about them charging me for every little item will not be going here or any other pizza place for a very long time. I’d rather make my pizza and get it at the store because like I said it’s better and they don’t charge you for everything not happy...
