Five Guys — Restaurant in Toms River

Yesterday my husband and I went on a small date, we got hungry so we went to this fast food restaurant hoping to eat something delicious and be well served. But it turns out that from the moment we entered, the person who was at the cash register looked at my husband and me as an annoying guy, describing us only with his eyes as if we were going to steal something from him. We show him a reference photo of the ones they have on the menu and we order two orders, we wait about 20 minutes or more, it's supposed to be a fast food restaurant, 20 minutes is a long time, we're in a hurry. No, we had no choice but to wait, in the end he called us to give us our orders we opened the bags and the glasses with potatoes were almost empty because apparently he put them directly in the bag when they are supposed to go in the sticks, not vast With that they gave us the burgers with meat without salt, the bread did not have lettuce, nor onion, nor tomato, nor pickles, in short absolutely nothing, and we paid $40 dollars for those orders. My husband went and asked him why he did not have anything Inside the bread, more than just the piece of meat without flavor or anything, it came and apparently I already knew that my husband was going to ask him about it. I gave him a tray with the raw cheese and without filling it with the bread or anything. and then he started talking about us with his partner, it really doesn't matter the $40 dollars, the money goes well but it is very sad that because they see his Hispanic face they still denigrate him in that way we just wanted to eat something delicious, we didn't order it for free and they didn't give us good food, nor good service and on top of that a soda all packed well, it was our first time and the last time I wish the owner or the manager realized how their staff is with customers since thanks to clients is that they keep their businesses afloat, I hope one day another Hispanic person doesn't come along and treat them that way I really felt very sad yesterday and I still feel so disconcerted I didn't take the photo of the hamburgers that they gave us without anything because we had to eat them like that because we were in a hurry but I will post the photo of the reference that they were asked for and they...

So I pulled up into the parking lot... peeped the inside as i was putting my car in park. i was in utter awe....the bright red sign and the checkered design in the inside, my first thought was “wow i want a burger in my mouth”. i walked in, observed my surroundings, and felt so at home. glancing to my sudden right i saw the most heart warming thing... beautiful drawings by children of god. my heart was fluttering like a butterfly in the middle of june. as i approached the counter i was pleasantly greeted. ordered my food as the cook was giving me luscious and promiscuous eyes. i waited about 8 minutes exactly for my food to get done. as i sat down, i grabbed my hunk of a burger right out of the bag and i just exploded with excitement. my burger was a big, juicy, delectable work of art. and don’t ask me about the fries, they were such an abundant supply, i didn’t even eat them all. so to conclude my rating. i give this place a 5 star review. thank you for your time, I WILL...

This review is from my husband because I am not a fan of 5 Guys but he is. He loves their fries and burgers.

What he loves about the fries is they are fresh cut and they tell you where they were sourced from. When we pick up an order for him from there I cannot stand the smell from the deep fry. I used to make donuts for ten years and would go home with that smell of oil and sweetness on my skin so maybe that is why.

I feel their burgers are way too expensive. Like I said though my husband likes them and he wants a high rating for them.

I will say that they are generally crowded when we pick up Door Dash orders and sometimes you have a long wait...
