Jersey Mikes — Restaurant in Toms River

I never had an issue with this Jersey Mike's location always Pleasant employees my order is always done correctly except for this evening. I ordered the number 17 cheesesteak in a bowl and when you place the order online nowhere in the contents of what is on this Cheesesteak does it mention the word lettuce. I go to pick up my Cheesesteak I bring it home and the container is 3/4 of the way full of lettuce a skimpy amount of meat and peppers and onions that didn't even taste like they were cooked. When I called the store and asked to speak to a manager, she proceeded to debate with me that it does call for lettuce and I said it does not say that anywhere on the website because I would have said specifically no lettuce. She asked me if I wanted to drive back and she'd make me another one. OF course I was not about to drive all the way back to the store to get another Bowl. I should have been offered a refund and that should have been the end of it. So she told me she would write my name down and the next time I come in they'll make me The Cheesesteak bowl without the lettuce in it. Unbelievable. I did grab lunch from Jersey Mike's at 1311 Rt 37 west Toms River. The last time I was there the manager told me they make gluten free subs so today I ordered my lunch and one for my daughter who is allergic to wheat.The staff made my subs and I was watching them the whole time when the girl went to make the gluten free she wiped the counter clean she threw out her gloves and this is where I was really impressed she put a new paper down went the gluten free bread and used a blue handle knife to cut the bread freshly sliced the meat next step a new paper was put down for the lettuce etc and the blue handle knife was used again no cross contimation this is very important to a person who is allergic to wheat .The sub is a #13 it did cost 10 75 plus a addition to the gluten free bread at 1.85 I told the manager I was very impressed with there service I was watching the whole time beyond 5 stars keep up the outstanding service wow Thank you for the...

Went to Jersey Mike's yesterday evening due to their "day of giving" event. I think it is great that a company donates 100% of it's profits in sales to a charity. In my area the proceeds were for the "Make a Wish" charity. Our subs we're fresh and delicious, and I am happy to say that they were busy. The staff there is friendly and nice. Thanks "Jersey Mike's" for giving back to a great cause.

Went there today for dinner today night,I got the Big Kahuna, it is delicious. Similar to a beef cheese steak sandwich, had hot peppers, onions, green peppers, mushrooms and white American cheese. Made it a combo with chips,drink and a cookie. Worked hard all day, was super hungry.
