I was a frequent customer at this location numerous times a week when I lived in TR. Recently, I saw everyone on social media talking about the food being served especially the selection of Mexican delicacies. I knew I had to drive up and try it out. Couldn’t wait to get my hands on some chorizo tacos.
The moment I took a bite, my mouth was on fire. I immediately looked up at the menu. Nothing was mentioned about anything spicy being included in the taco. It was simply sausage, cilantro, onion, and lime I was perplexed.
I asked the girl what the issue was with the heat she said oh we include jalapeño, I said, why wasn’t I told that? I can’t eat jalapeño. I had a really bad adverse reaction from cancer treatment. She didn’t say a word. I also asked why it wasn’t written on the menu? The question was an answered either. I gave her my box of three tacos and out the door I went.    Read moreI am basing this rating on my first meal from this deli. I got the steak tacos with hot peppers and onions. These are authentic tacos as they were meant to be originally. Fantastic!! And don't forget to spritz the meat with the lime wedges. They aren't just a garnish.
They are not your Americanized tacos loaded with fatty meat and shredded cheese and a salad in a difficult to eat hard taco shell. I grew up loving the Americano Taco and they still have a place in my heart but these are a wonderful example of legit South American food.

I moved away a few years ago and when I travel back in town I always stop here to pick up my favorite sub to take back with me. Im sad to say that my last 2 stops have no been same.
