Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Tooele

Extremely hit or miss experience. Much more miss than hit in recent weeks. Invariably the wait time suggests they must first hatch, raise, slaughter, butcher, and then finally cook the individual chicken that you're going to be eating. In the restaurant. At the time you order. (Editorial Note: this is clearly an embellishment to convey a point. Don't take everything you read on the internet as absolute literal fact.)

Look, if you're going to eat here: don't expect much, and make sure you don't need to be going anywhere else in the next next hour or so. You might be pleasantly surprised; but why risk it when you could eat literally anything else?

Still, not a 1 star review because it can be good. Well, not "Good" good. But just about what you expect popeye's to be. Just really, excruciatingly slow. Can't be called "fast food." Just "food." And reading the word "food" formatted that way probably makes you feel uncomfortable. It should. Eating it will likely yield more of the same; much more.

GAH! This review means I've lost even more of my time to these poultry pushers! Hopefully it saves some other...

I will never come back to the Tooele location. The woman taking my order seemed completely put out that she had to take my order, the drink machine was completely out of everything except blueberry lemonade, the ice didn't even work, just had to take my cups to the aforementioned woman and she gave me the wrong drinks. The woman on the drive thru was not wearing gloves but handling money and touching every surface of the sandwiches with the same hands.

The food was ok. Took a long time but it tasted decent. I don't feel comfortable to go up and ask for another drink. We have leftover food and I don't want to even ask for a bag.

When we initially ordered it was like she was so irritated, and when the transaction was complete she didn't say a word. Like "ok we will get that out to you", she just walked away, no receipt, no thanks, nothing. I'm just really disappointed that anyone gets treated that way. For any reason.

Do better please, Popeyes. I have always been a fan. But not today. I think I'll skip going here from now on. The worst part was the woman not wearing gloves and touching...

Went through the drive thru for the big box, I had ordered from the back seat, while my husband was in the driver seat, they told me to wait for my order for about 5 min, Since I was in the back my husband joked with a women voice and the worker was laughing and everything was good. When the gave me my order I only saw one piece chicken, went back in to have the manager tell me she counted it herself and that it was two. Then she threw in the piece and was very rude from the start, interrupting my order when I was talking with one worker about it anyways. My husband than decided that he wanted more chicken so we went through the drive-thru again asked for a family 8 piece in a combo with a coke. They weren’t so friendly saying not to joke with him and the manager gave the chicken personally and said she counted them herself with a very rude voice, halfway home noticed they hadn’t given us the large coke I ordered and we turned around cause you deserve to get what you paid for. So hey did you count the missing coke as well Jerk. Never...
