Just started going here recently. Great space and delicious curly fries! HOWEVER, first time being here, no one stopped to service us. So I walk to the bar to get a drink. Bartender was super rude to my sister when she asked what kind of drinks there were and continued to be rude when I asked for a headache. Then not even 5min later, the server finally popped up and asked everyone at my table for our ID's bc the bartender saw us drinking out of each other's drink (when we all had our own). This made my first night embarrassing and not good but I still went back to play. The next couple of days were okay and the servers were super nice! Then today we come in and once again, no servicing. Went to the bar to get a drink and the guy was not warming at all with his "greeting". Also, bottles are $2.50 on Sundays and my beer was $3. (not a big deal, 50 cents doesn't kill me but it's the false advertisement). Throughout the night, the lady server sat at the bar and didn't check to see if we needed anything to drink, and I am a good tipper ( I'm a server as well). I feel discrimated against and management needs to fix this issue! This place has televisions for days; sports, news, and local broadcasts. Can I talk about how clean this place is kept, what an inviting environment. Everything you would look for in a sports bar.
The food is exceptional, in no way would you conceive that these recipes would come out of a billiard hall. The food is comparable to your favorite local establishment. You know you're interested in checkin' out the Blvd Billiards Sport Bar.
They have so many pool tables you'll be amiss if you think you wouldn't be able to find space for a good game. Many APA and BCA games are played here with support for the starter and average player to boost your game. They have a full service billiards shop just ask anyone.
All done and said, this place is the most entertaining and eventful place in Topeka. People here are genuine, the food is awesome and the prices are reasonable.
Go check them out, Boulevard Billiards, South...
Read moreWell, it's a pool hall. A pool hall that has everything from alcoholic beverages to no masks anywhere and social distancing at a minimum. There were a few of us who donned our breathing apparatus at all times, except during the aforementioned ritualistic alcoholic beverage drink and cinnamon shots. I was told Boulevard sold food but I only saw a few folks eating. And since I can't smell or taste anything anyway... Just kidding. A little Covid humor and I do mean a litte. Ít was a fine place to play pool and a very good place to avoid people. It was tournament night so all the finest table jockey's within a 30 mile range were there with their shiny sticks and two fingered gloves. I'd go back. But only for the camaraderi I built between myself and...
