Fat Shack — Restaurant in Topeka

We ordered online from Fat Shack and has my order delivered. We got the large Fat Maverick and added mozzarella sticks and bacon. We also ordered deep fried Oreos with chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce. The order came on time but was missing the sauces I paid extra for. The sandwich tasted ok. It was missing sauces on it that we requested. It also was really skimpy on the amount of food included. It was not at all a decent value for the $20 we spent on the sandwich. I would've expected more that a few French fries and the couple of chicken tenders that were on the sandwich. The mozzarella sticks we added looked like it was only one stick that had been smashed across the entire sandwich. Really disappointed in it. The deep fried Oreos were pretty good but was really disappointed the sauces I added for them were not included. That would've made them significantly better. I would not recommend this place because it is way overpriced for what you get.

09/15/23 Update - Decided to give it another try in the chance that what I received last time was just a fluke. Unfortunately, it was not the case. The sandwiches are just not worth it. Our sandwiches each had one chicken tender cut into 4ths. You are basically paying $15+ for some bread and small portions of cheap fried food on that bread. They are extremely overpriced for what you get. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else that will give you the value for what you pay. Lowering...

Me being A proud college student i can admit that Fat shack is the shack to go too😫! Especially if you have cravings like me. Let’s begin with the bullet point review as you already know that’s what I’m here to do:

*The Menu literally caters to majority of your cravings. You’ll find wild but creative food combinations there. Ones that you didn’t even know you need to hear about.

*The customer service is always good and everyone is very welcoming.

*There is usually a wait when it comes to getting your food BUT! I promise you the wait is worth it because everything is freshly made and the meat is always fresh!!

BBQ Philly Steak Sandwich review: This is literally my go to! Every time I order this, hyper salivation literally occurs. It’s always hot and ready and the meat is grilled to perfection every time. 5/5

Cheesy Fries: I honestly had bad experiences with cheesy fries. However, I decided to try it again and they didn’t disappoint!! The cheese they use is addicting 😫 even when it cools down. The fries itself was nice and crunchy and I love the homemade taste to it. I wish I could’ve ate it without thinking about my first cheesy fries experience at another restaurant though. 4/5

When it comes to fat shack you’ll always get full on only half of your meal! They’re affordable for what they do and they are also open very late at night which is perfect for a college student like me!

My very first time in the States, and my first time even hearing about Fat Shack! Being from Saipan, I chose it on a whim because it was so close to my hotel, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. The people out here in the States are certainly built different from back home, so it was really nice to encounter such friendly staff. Everyone was openly laughing, which I found quite charming. The person taking my order was particularly great – he spoke incredibly fast, and I wasn't used to that pace, so he was kind and patient enough to repeat everything for me. And in a lovely touch, one of the staff members asked if they could give my kid a cookie before offering it. I really appreciated that kindness and consideration. The food? Incredible! My parents, who usually stick to Filipino food and were pretty tired of McDonald's, were skeptical at first. But they absolutely devoured their meals and were out cold afterward – a true sign of delicious satisfaction! Whatever that yellow sauce...
