Dairy Isle — Restaurant in Toronto

On a recent visit to Toronto, we went to Dairy Isle every single day of our 3-day trip. All three days we got ice cream and on our final day we also got food. They have a great selection of ice cream flavors, and their food is very good compared to what you would typically expect at an ice cream shop. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, my kids had chicken tenders and cheeseburgers, and my wife had the fried zucchini and hot pepper cheese balls. It was all very, very good. Just moved here from SC, and this place is officially my fave ice cream around. Good service, and the cookie dough ice cream hit all the right areas. Big gobs of cookie dough, unlike some that have small bits here and there, plus lots of chocolate chips. Makes this pregnant woman very happy 😂 it was also the only place around we found a dairy free option for our lactose intolerant toddler.
