I had such a great experience today that I had to leave a review. My daughter and my dad and I went here for Fathers Day. My daughter is allergic to pretty much all the average breakfast foods that we eat in this country. Can’t have dairy or eggs. So that limits so much.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate my daughter. We all got our food at the same exact time. They triple checked with me on all of her allergens and what she could eat off the menu. They even went to a dedicated area in the back, to ensure she had no cross contamination. I almost cried because where we are from in Georgia, nobody accommodates her. They all say ‘sorry, we can’t risk the allergen exposure’.
And this restaurant didn’t even bat an eye. Delicious food. Fabulous prices. HUGE portions! I ordered a few things thinking they would be average size portions because of the pricing (and the insane inflation everywhere) but my entire family left full & with leftovers for $50. Again, we each had multiple dishes. So the food we had could have fed 4-5 people/meals.
Really can’t beat this place! I wanted to make more allergy families aware of the kindness and awareness these people have towards allergies. They could have just as easily said it was too busy to accommodate my girls needs, but instead they said ‘oh it’s no problem whatsoever’.

Read moreMy name is Carlos Alberto Emmanuel Adames and I met the La Monica's at a very young age with my Aunt Marie Colligan and Uncle Raymond Colligan. When I lived back East, they always treated me like family throughout the years. Their Father Angelo and Mother Maria La Monica and there three sons, Tony, Angelo, and Joey always treated me with so much love. I loved going in back and giving their Mom and Dad a big hug and kiss every time I came to visit and eat there. I love this family so much, and always enjoyed eating their over the decades. I was born in Torrington, CT but now live in Twenty-Nine Palms, California. Once I get a chance to go back, I will definitely save my appetite to eat some more of there delicious food. Love Yogi the Bear Tony, US Army Airborne Ranger Veteran and Semper Fi Tony LA Monica. I love and...
Read morePretty nice place. I really liked the miltary decore. You seat yourself at any available table, which was different. At first, we were not being serviced while others who came after us were being served. The owner noticed, and he quickly addressed the waitress. He was extremely apologetic and very friendly. We felt so welcomed by him. He is also the chef. The food was delicious. We were extremely happy. It was very family friendly. The owner really cares about the people and his place. Excellent and top notch service by the owner. Definitely...
