Edit: today I ordered a Santa Fe breakfast sandwich. A short girl with a backwards hat on waited on me. She asked if I wanted a side with the sandwich. I said “oh, does it come with a side?” To which she said “you can get a side with anything.” Still confused as to whether the side was included or not, I asked “is it extra?” to which she responded “yes, everything is
” ok, so why ask if I want a side? Or if you’re going to ask, say something like “would you like to add a side for $___? She never once smiled and she made me feel unwelcome. She also didn’t greet me when I walked in, I had to say hi to her. And there was no one else there at the time. Finally went today after wanting to go for months. Ordered a chocolate caramel toffee cake slice, two breakfast sandwiches and a Frappuccino. Everything was good, the cake slice was incredible. Very clean and inviting cafĂ©. Will definitely order a custom cake from them for special occasions. My only suggestion is to make breakfast sandwiches available on something other than a bagel, like an English muffin, sourdough toast or even a croissant.

I was so excited to eat here while visiting Rochester area for the first time with my partner, but very disappointed. The atmosphere was pretty awful - it seemed as though the manager was fighting with the employees which created an uncomfortable energy while we were waiting for our order. The aesthetics inside are lacking and make other locations in the city preferable to grab a vegan meal. I got a bagel with vegan cream cheese - pretty hard to mess that up, yet there was barely any cream cheese on it and the bagel was cold by the time I finally got it. Fortunately my partner’s meal was good enough to redeem the awful environment and weird petty energy.

Phenomenal! I had I believe the Cora, the panini with housemade seitan turkey, and it was so delicious and very filling. I swapped the romesco for pesto because I don't do tomatoes and they were very accommodating of the substitution (some places get weird if you want to swap something). More expensive than some other cafes, yes, but the price imo is fair for the quality and the work that goes into some of the ingredients like seitan. I also got one of their big cookies and it is just as fantastic. The employees were friendly, the service was fast and the place was spotless. Definitely a new go to.

The food here is absolutely delicious! The menu is all Vegan, but you wouldn't know it as the menu is just bursting flavor! Each menu item is delish and made to.order so you can adjust toppings, seasoning, and different flavors as you like. The atmosphere is very casual with breakfast and lunch wraps, sandwiches, paninis, and soup being the staple menu items. I had the minestrone soup and it was out of this world delicious. The portobello hot sandwich was savory and juicy, seasoned perfectly with vegan cheese and I asked to add roasted red peppers and have pesto as the dressing on the bread which kicked up the flavor a notch for me. The baked good are incredible too! The lemon raspberry cupcake is so savory you wouldn't know it's missing any dairy or eggs. It was moist and packed with a zingy sweet meld of flavors. And I brought a cinnamon coffee cake muffin home for the next morning and it was still light yet dense on flavor, and it was moist with the perfect cook all the way through. They also bake cakes for special events and when I tell you the same artists are spectacular in their design talents, that's a gross understatement. The cake work is BEAUTIFUL, creative, and meticulous!! This is definitely one of my favorite local places to grab lunch and satisfy my sweet tooth. Great work to the team there, I'm sure putting Hollycake House together was a labor of love. I hope this small business...

Food is some of the best i have ever tasted, but unfortunately the inconsistent schedule makes it tough to visit. This past weekend google showed them open and I checked the square app which showed them open as well. It allowed me to make an order, charged my card, and sent a confirmation e-mail with an order ready time. I drove over twenty minutes to get there to see it was closed. Any other time they were closed the square app showed them closed as well. Later found out from my daughter that they posted it on instagram which i do not currently use. My card was credited back and I would still suggest to others to try this place as the food is amazing, but not very likely that i will try again after...
