Just went for the first time - it was great! Here's what I experienced:
It was a nice space with the games laid out with enough room to play and not worry about being in others' way while you played.
There were plenty of new and older games - even the older machines were fun to play! The games were very well maintained.
The proprietor was very nice. I invited a bunch of friends to join me and I prepaid for them, so when people showed up he'd ask if they were with my party (since I was back having fun and not paying attention to those coming in late).
I'm used to pool halls and such of yesteryear where there's an odor of smoke wafting through the air. No such experience, here.
They let us bring in some food so we used a table for some cupcakes and water we brought.
There are a few stools present in case you get tired of standing.
I know prices can change - we paid $20 for entry per person and then the machines were free play. What a deal!
We had a blast! We played for over 4 hours and did not run out of fun to be had.
If you are thinking of having a party there, it can easily be 3 hours. I suggest the following - play a bunch of machines over the first hour, then pick your 10 favorite among your group. Then over the next 2 hours record your scores to see who gets highest. The highest on the most games wins a Twix...
Read moreEnded up at RPC after flipping a coin to decide if I should go check them out or stay in and have been going ever weekend since . The whole staff Mark , Rob, Jaret , Steph ,Bruce, zac and even more have always been EXCELLENT. Friendly and helpful from the first day I walked in having never played on a pinball machine to 2 years later still striking up conversation and teaching me new things on machines . 80 plus games with new ones added all the time you really can sink hours in this place ... And I have . They also host a very beginner friendly three strikes tournament every month which is a great way to meet new pinball enthusiast and learn new tips and tricks . The bigger tournament they host is really cool to watch and even participate in when you have people from all over the country coming to play at RPC.
20$ gets you in for the whole day and if you come more than once a month I highly recommend getting a monthly membership as it basically pays for itself .
They do have lots of snacks and drinks at the desk and there are plenty of nearby restaurants or bars if you're looking for a little more . They do allow you to come in and out if so .
All In all RPC is amazing . Go...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem. As others have said, $20 gets you in for however long they are open. 5-10pm on Thursday and 3-11pm on Saturday. They seem to have infrequent hours on Friday, so be sure to check out their schedule. For those that frequent this place, they also offer a $45 monthly membership so you can play all you want for one price. Check out their website to see what is available to play.
The games are all in fantastic shape and range from the 1970s to recent releases. On my families visit, everything was in good working order. There seemed to be a pretty even mix of modern, solid state, and electromechanical machines. Various snacks are available, but you can come and go as you please if you need something more substantial.
I just moved from a pinball wasteland and am so pleased to have found this place. Thanks for a...
