When you first walk in, you'll peg this place as a dive. And honestly? It is! And that's what makes it so great. Locally owned and locally supported, they have daily and weekly specials. Most of their menu is made in-house from scratch, save for a few common fryer options. Their mozzarella sticks are hand rolled with fresh mozzarella and breading, seasoned, and drizzled with a truffle oil. Their wings are some of the best I've had in Rochester. I was originally turned on to this place by my good friend, who knows I love a good fish fry. She said, "Trust me." When you walk in, she said, you'll peg this place as a dive for old timers, lol. Their fish is so big that if you get it to go, they have to break it in half to fit in a standard take out box! Their steak night is always a hit. The bartenders remember your name and your order. On Tuesdays, not only is it Taco Tuesday (shrimp is my favorite, and YES, YOU CAN MIX N MATCH!!) but they also host trivia. I've gone for drinks but also for dinner with my family (kids included). Actually so bad - just moved to ER and saw that this bar was right around the corner from our house. Went with a group of friends (we are all 22-23) and immediately felt very unwelcome, the staff just stared at us and ignored us until we went up to the bar to try and get service. Then one of the patrons gets up and starts harassing us for IDs and demanding we put them on the counter (come to find out this lady doesn't even work there omg) and is just absolutely so rude saying our IDs are fake and the entire time the staff/bartender does NOTHING. We were very disappointed. We went to watch the band and have a light dinner. We were there for about 90 minutes and the waiter never even looked at us --- he appeared to be purposely avoiding us. I eventually went to the bar to get my own drinks, and we ended up leaving without eating, so I can't comment on the food.
