First time here because we were in the area and like to try new places. The atmosphere was nice. Sat down and the waiter immediately wanted to take our drink order. Got our drinks but he forgot the side of ice my wife asked for twice. Then we waited quite a while before he came back to take our order which was confusing considering how fast he wanted to take our drink order. I decided to try the special burger even tho it was $24. The burger was good but the pastrami in the middle was cool and unfortunately fatty. The split pea soup was good. The wife got the French dip sandwich. She liked it even tho it had American cheese on it. Unfortunately she asked for onion rings and we didn't get them. Was a few .in before we could find the waiter to exchange them so we didnt bother. Over all a decent place but nothing special for us to want to make the trip back.

We were in town and stopped by because of the reviews. Pretty funny seeing on the menu the have been in numerous shows. Ok. It was a Sunday afternoon and not too busy. So we got waters pretty quick and noticed a server running around really fast. Come to find out they only had two servers for the whole place. I say this as I don’t rate based on the lack of help as it is reality right now. We had an app and sandwiches. Food was great and the server worked his but off. Fun fact was seeing the cigarette machine in the bar area. Lots of stuff to look at. Be careful in the lot as it is tight. My only gripe is it was ridiculous hot outside and the side we sat on was freezing, the other side was warm. Just remember that it you don’t like it really cold.

I worked in Greenwich for 10+ years and had lunch at the Cobblestone frequently. Went tonight with my family and although the food was ok the service was terrible. At times all three waitresses were standing around talking or on their cell phones. Unless we flagged someone down no one was checking in on our table. The restaurant was not crowded and when we asked a waitress to please clear our plates my mom asked if our waitress left for the night. Turns out our waitress did not leave and came back over to our table to tell us she was busy counting money at the bar. Unprofessional and rude at best. Count your money when you close and service your customers. We will not be back.

My neighbor and I went to the Cobblestone Restaurant for dinner. Let me just say this - it was the first and last time I will ever go there again. The young woman who seated us was pleasant enough, but the male waiter seemed kind of annoyed about having to serve us. We ordered appetizers and dinner. He brought the appetizers that I ordered - fried shrimp. They were somewhat soggy and tasteless and required a lot of sauce and lemons to bring out any taste. I had just started to eat my appetizer when lo! Guess what arrived? You guessed it. MY DINNER! So, there I was with the appetizers still sitting in front of me and my dinner on the edge of the table. I had ordered the "Chicken Maryland." I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can call the food in this place "FABULOUS." The chicken was so dry, it was completely tasteless! the vegetables were dry and the rice was all stuck together. Prior to ordering the chicken, I had asked for a hamburger on a regular bun and was told that "this restaurant doesn't have hamburger buns. We only serve burgers on hard rolls." For dessert I had ordered the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and was told the restaurant didn't have vanilla ice cream at that point. All I all, between the food and the drinks, the check came to $75.00. For what, I ask! The place...
