Almost perfect, almost. Ordered online using the website, very easy to use, very simple, placed well ahead of time and paid for right there; no hassle. Wish more take-out friendly restaurants offered this sort of thing. Ended up going with the Hay Stack and the Turkey Rubin with Garlic Parm fries. Showed up but was a little lost on where to go as their "Pick Up Here" sign was black with purple chalk on it which was hard to see pulling in, eventually I located the right place, honked my horn as instructed, and waited for about 5 minutes before someone came out with my order. It felt pretty hot, so I didn't dock them for the slight wait even given how early I put the order through. When I got home and opened everything up I immediately could tell I was jipped on the fries, the fries I got were just normal steak fries, which I wouldn't have balked too much at as they tasted fine, except for the fact the garlic parm fries I ordered were an upcharge. So I lost a dollar and enjoyed the fries slightly less. Hence the "almost" perfect, as that little mess up knocked a star off. As for the Turkey Rubin, well that was phenomenal. Thick, meaty, tasty. So good. And while I think the "stack" of "hay" was more like a "handful", the onion petals tasted fine. The sauce included really knocked them out of the park though, and helped me get though the plain fries too. Tangy and with a little bite. A shame about the mix-up, but a good time was still had none the less. Came out to be $31 tip included, which isn't bad. I was thinking of trying a dessert too, but I wasn't certain what to expect from those funnel sticks without some kind of picture. Kinda wish their online menu had pictures of what the orders looked like.

Such a fabulous place. A hidden treasure! The Multi level atmosphere is wonderful. We had a Buffalo chicken salad, Seafood bisque, and fish-and-chips. The seafood biscuit was the best I've ever had! The fish-and-chips were pretty good although the the coating on the haddock was a little bit off. The Buffalo chicken salad was excellent, the spicing was just right and the vegetables very crisp and fresh. The chicken was juicy and appropriately spiced. Our waitress, Kristina, was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back! Update-5/5/23- the taco salad was a disappointment. The shell was cold, stale, and funky oil taste. The salad itself needed maybe chopped tomatoes or Pico, something to give it substance. The cherry tomatoes did nothing positive for the salad. The garlic parmesan fries saved the day. They were outstanding. Same for the cowboy hamburger- delish!

We went on a Saturday evening and it was busy but they were able to seat our fairly large party. Our server was nice. I ordered a salad with no croutons due to an allergy and someone else in our party ordered the same thing also no croutons. They brought the salads, one with croutons and when it was brought to their attention another server started pulling the croutons out with her BARE HANDS!! I was appalled to be honest not just because of cross contamination due to allergy but the hygiene part as well. We all ordered drinks with dinner and they were sub par flavor wise. Not made as well as they could have been for sure. Salad with no croutons tasted great but couldn’t get over the bare hands thing

I REALLY wanted to have a positive experience here, but it failed in so many ways. It's a nice place for live music. I think it would be perfect for having a drink at the bar and if I were to eat here again, I'd also eat at the bar (faster). 3 of us ate here tonight (outdoor seating, which was nice). It took a VERY long time for our waitress to stop by & take a drink order. We asked what dark beers (porter's, stouts, etc) were on tap. 15 mins later she came by & rattled off all these options. We weren't familiar with them so picked 2. Awhile later they came, but they were far from dark beers. So, we sent them back & talked w/ the bartender only to find out they didn't have any darks on tap. Ah! But, he did suggest Ubu from Lake Placid as the closest choice.. that was EXC! 10 mins later, and our waitress stopped by to take our order. We ordered meatloaf on a roll, cheeseburger, and a warm roast beef on Naan bread. It took over 30 mins for the order to arrive. Yikes! When it came, the food was cool, my bread was super soggy, and the parm/garlic fries were very greasy & somewhat soggy (tip, Rustic.. try seasoning fries w/DRY parm & garlic.. the fresh version is too wet for fries). If the food had come to us in a more timely fashion, it would have been better. I think the cheeseburger had the greatest potential to be good.. the other meals..meh. I would order reg fries (vs seasoned). Slaw & reg rice were good. They do have GF rolls. I think we had a very inexperienced waitress. The other waitresses were attentively serving customers. I would keep the food selections simple.. better chance it'll turn out good. I MIGHT try this place again.. eating at the bar & listening to...

This is the experience we had on June 3 when I had an important luncheon meeting at this facility . I had called ahead to be sure they could easily accommodate a few gluten-free choices for my daughter and I explaining that we had celiac’s , then through the manager I made my reservations for 6 people a week early . Separately told my waitress it had to be gluten-free for my daughter and I we both had celiac‘s. We both ordered a salad. She assured me would be gluten-free, and when it came, there was a slice of bread laying on top of both of our salads. I told them all of this over the phone and in writing . The owner Dave, said there was no kitchen manager on that day and that he would look into it, and follow up getting back to me to make it right.

He Promised to send a gift card for this error as my daughter and I sat there without our food while everyone else ate while our food, safety and allergies had been totally ignored. After three weeks, I wrote again through their website when no one had gotten back to me and was told by his daughter, on his behalf, that they no longer served bread on top of their salads and nothing else would be done, no apologies, no gift cards nothing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody who has any kind of a food safety...
