"Mommy, I want that!"

Came in for breakfast around 9:30AM, diner was slightly busy but had plenty of room left inside for me to be seated immediately.

Ended up ordering a decaf coffee, the Belgium Waffle with Strawberries and Whipped Cream, and a Build Your Own Omelette with Onions, Peppers, and Cheddar Cheese. Coming to just over $30 before tip.

The coffee was weirdly strong for decaf, a very dark roasted bean, but since I didn't get the jitters later I know it was in fact decaf and not just regular. However that darkness helped as the waffle was sweet central, with sweet strawberries, the massive amount of whipped cream, and syrup on top of it all. Quite the thick waffle as it absorbed all those flavors and toppings, and still had room to remain intact and stand out in texture. The omelette was no slouch either, coming with toast of your choice (I went with wheat), and either hash browns or home fries. (I got the hash browns) The eggs was nice and fluffy, jam packed with the add-ins I selected, the toast was buttered right to the edge, and the hash browns were crunchy, savory, but not overly salted. I really enjoyed this breakfast, and you could tell as I devoured it all in just 10 or so minutes. Delicious.

Amusingly I had a mother and her child sitting in the booth across from me, and the kid decided I would be his entertainment for the morning. Watching me play on my phone, pointing out to his mother my business attire, and asking his mom about my waffle. A very real dinner experience, harkening back to the days when I use to go out with my own family for breakfast.

Overall this was a great breakfast experience, from the service to the food and even to the atmosphere. Would totally come back for...

Ordered a medium rare and medium steak in addition to a medium burger. All were overdone to extra well. Also the burger bun was rock hard. The waitress was very inattentive as well as the I'm assuming manager or owner. While they attempted to fix it after waiting awhile for the waitress who did not return until after I went to the manager/owner, the steak came out well this time which was better than last, but still over done. The soups were pretty awful except the onion. The onion was better than the rest. The upcharge to a ceasar salad was not worth it. & the Turkey and gravy pretty much looked like cat food. Also the chicken tenders were absolutely outrageous. They tasted like fish. Overall I was completely disgusted in this meal and would not recommend it. Honestly I would go anywhere else. Fast food might be the way...

The sodas taste like mold as if they didn't change the box in weeks I got a turkey burger which was just a bun and Patty no lettuce no tomatoes no onions just cheese pickles and coleslaw but it didn't even say that on the menu you see turkey burger you're going to think that you're going to get a burger with all the fixes I couldn't even eat it woke up the next morning and my stomach still hurts from eating at this place the waitress we got was very kind very nice I wish I got her name but you can tell her manager had a problem when we noticed that there was a problem with our food and she had an attitude don't have an attitude just do better that was our first time being there and the food was horrible it's a hole in the wall diner for a reason. It's probably the only diner in Amsterdam but still they...

Stopped in for a quick bite while I was running some errands in Amsterdam. It's a nice size diner and it's wide open and bright. I was seated right away and my waiter came right over to my table. I ordered a BLT. It came out pretty quickly. The sandwich was fine but nothing spectacular. You can tell when a sandwich has been made with love and although there was nothing wrong with it, you can tell it was just thrown together. Half the bacon was falling off the bread when it was served to me. It tasted good but it just wasn't anything to write home about. Overall a decent spot for breakfast and lunch.

So I have a medical alert service dog. Upon walking in I was screamed at by the employee pictured who said that my service dog needed an id or vest. I told her that according to the ada, there were two questions she could ask. I answered those two questions. I repeatedly tried to show her the ada law. She refused to look and ultimately refused service. Do not eat here if you are disabled or if you support the disabled community.
