A huge thank you to the staff that worked on 9/26/23! I was there to pick up my online order around 5:30/5:45pm.
Per usual, my food was ready & I just had to wait for my fries. No big deal.
While waiting, a customer approached me and explained to me that she was disappointed in the service and didn't understand why things took so long. She expressed that it was "bad customer service" not to have the food ready upon arrival of the customer. She continued to complain about believing her food would be cold because she had to wait for her fries. I smiled and told her there was simply no way her food would be cold & if it was, it's still better than cold & soggy fries. I also advised her that if she called when she left her house, then they would have dropped her fries then & she could have eliminated the in store wait. She was not thrilled with this answer or that I was in a great mood and excited for my delicious dinner. She rolled her eyes and tapped her hand on the counter while yelling at staff and inquiring how much longer it would be for her food.
The staff, was perfect. They nicely explained that the fries were just finished and she'd be set to go in a moment. The staff then grabbed a bag & placed it on the counter. This lady grabbed the bag assuming it was hers and continued to complain about the wait of time. The staff advised the only wait she had was for the fries upon her arrival (which is true, she got there just before I did, she however, went to the register and ended up technically behind me). The lady disagreed and offered the receipt showing the time stamp, so staff could see that she waited forever. Staff nicely declined & the lady grabbed the bag and stormed out of the store. Shortly after, I was given a bag & headed to my car. Once I got in the car, I laughed and saw that my name was not on the order, it was instead the other lady's name.
I went back in & advised the staff that the food I was given wasn't mine, this wasn't a big deal, I didn't even get out of the parking lot before I realized. The staff was extremely apologetic & instantly began remaking the order for me. Within 5 minutes I was out the door.
What happened? Why did I get the wrong food? Simple, the other lady grabbed my bag out of the staff's hands before a name could be read let alone said as she was too focused on being angry.
I truly have nothing bad to say about this location or the service I receive when I go there. And give a huge 5 star shout out to the staff that was there! They rocked, replaced the order & handled the ride customer with grace. 9/26/23 was also my first time trying a lettuce wrapped burger! I was truly impressed with it!
I just hope that management here realizes that they have an excellent crew on! And I hope the other lady has realized it pays to be patient & to always wait for a name to be said! Hopefully she enjoyed the food that my husband & I...

The battleship being my stomach, because wow, it was like they filled up the large cup with the fries I got and then just tossed in an extra cup into the bag itself. Amazing.
Ordered in person, going with the large Cajun Fries, a Grilled Cheese, the Veggie Sandwich, and a BLP. (bacon, lettuce, and pickles) All together coming to a bit over $29, very reasonable considering the sheer volume of fries they include.
Could help but snack on the fries as I drove home with my goodie bag, and man, the cajun seasoning is super. A tad spicy, not too salty, and the fries are all evenly coated. The fries themselves were also super fresh, very hot, but not so much that they burned my mouth. Back home I more or less inhaled the grilled cheese, which was super cheesy. Though I would have preferred a crispier exterior. The veggie sandwich was refreshing and cut through the heavier options I ran with, and my choice of adding BBQ sauce and pickles instead of tomatoes made it taste like a meatless burger. And lastly the BLP, so much crispy bacon, and with it being on a burger bun had an added effect of letting the crispy texture of the bacon stand out more. If I had the option I think I would have added cheese to the veggie, and maybe tossed some of my fries into the BLP as an extra layer.
And while I was not inside very long, I found the staff to be very hard working and well oiled. No bickering, no slouching, everyone was doing something and doing it well.

Read moreUpsetting experience recently opened location took forever, over an hour for an order placed online several hours earlier and scheduled for pickup for 6pm. Arrived to find no social distancing and extended wait times for ALL ORDERS seemed walk in customers were quicker.. I was one of several who asked for a refund and was told not possible not even store credit and that we basically had to wait. Unfortunately they are not familiar with car makes or models/colors so when asked to wait in my vehicle posed another problem which I observed several instances of, so back inside with no social distancing, no refunds or future credit for anyone who asked so I could leave and come another time. Unfortunately if your having this type of traffic all online orders should be suspended until it can be handled, walk in only and someone should've been taking head counts at the door to prevent entry and stay within cdc/state guidelines. On top of all that I watched someone slip on the freezing rain that started while waiting and I had an issue with my order. If you like five guys wait like 3 months before trying the Amsterdam location might be straightened...
